A load of political hogwash......

I have been a King fan for more years than a care to admit but this book is the first that I will never finish. I never got past chapter 5. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but when you are writing a story to entertain your followers you don't shove you politics down their throats. The first 5 chapters spent more time on covid and how each side of the parties felt and reacted. if it had been done from just the main characters point of view, dem or repub, that would have been fine but this is not the case. King sends most of those 5 chapters making a point that the dems are right and the repub are wrong with no end in sight. I gave up trying to be neutral and just put the garbage (book) down. I am very disappointed in King. We all know he is a huge liberal but u never thought he would write a book just to shove it down our throats. This is one I wish I could get my money back on. With all the movie and TV deals he has going on I know this will go missed but I am done with anything new from King. Sad day.
