Outdated but fine

Was trying to expand my knowledge on gut health so I figured I pick this up. But most of it either outdated or "We don't know but here's what our biased information shows", which is fine I kind of what I expected. I'm just a little bummed because I've read studies that say the opposite of what this book says.

I'm someone who's had major health issues and after trying a vegan/vegetarian diet for 4 years, mediterranean diet for a year, keto for a year, and now I'm currently carnivore diet for two years (with small amounts of fermented foods) and I can tell you that I don't need fiber and I feel so much better without it, I cured my Gerd, leaky gut, and fatty liver with carnivore and stockily enough my autoimmune issues have gotten better.

I'm sure I'm the minority here but just wanted to speak my truth lol.
If anyone cares Dr. Sean O'mara has a far more interesting book on this (not on audible).

JRR Tolkien ages like fine wine, the older I get the more his stories hit harder. Honestly I'm going back and reading/listening to all the books again... why? Because Rings of power is one of the worst shows ever written and after that horrific show I needed some REAL JRR TOLKIEN!!! Unforgivable Amazon!

I HATE Lex!!!

everyone but Lex is wonderfully written....I was astonished on how annoying and how out of place Lex was. she's legitimately would take me out of the book for how annoying she was.... something really cool or thrillerish things would start to happen and then Lex would say or do something absolutely idiotic/ unbelievable. it's really puzzling because Tim was written wonderfully as a kid character... but Lex... Lex should of got eaten... if Lex wasn't in this book I'd give it a 5/5... but she is so I give it a 3.5/5...

AMAZING.....but.... (Buy the book instead)

This is one of the best stand alone stories about xenos in a long time!
So I loved this story, fresh, different, new! It does take a little bit for the story to start, but we all know how hard it is to be an Alien fan with so much BAD stories, games, and movies. I think this story is worth your time and money so give it a try but BUY THE BOOK INSTEAD! I personally couldn't stand the narration choice for this audio book.... The main character is a girl, and this guy gives her a ONE MONOTONE VOICE no matter what she is doing, this shy girl push over type... WHICH DOESN'T FIT! She's suppose to be this strong main character who is trying her best to show she a woman can be strong enough to roll with the big dogs... not this shy timid thing, (not to mention all the other female voices).... It sucked but I hung in there... but the worst character voice that just made me want to stop the audio book all together was the voice of Creen... he gives him this nerdy nasally voice that you can't help but hate...like a throw away character that your meant to hate... but nope you have to deal with this "I don't care about anything attitude" whinny childish voice... the longer he get in the story the voices don't match Creen at all (well mostly).... when he isn't talking for a character I actually like the narrator's voice.. but all he does is just pushes you away from actually enjoying the characters and their ark!... the voices alone made it really hard for me to care for anyone important in the story till I was so fed up off I just deleted the audible version and brought and downloaded the kindle version and that save this awesome fun story for me. and I just want to say the narrator isn't bad... you can just tell he didn't read the book first, and also you can't have a male read a females story is just sounds bad.... buy the book. just save yourself a token buy the book... it takes a little bit to get rolling but once it does it's wonderful!

Not bad story! Horribly written characters!

I listen to this along time ago( not really caring for it) but couple years later I had a urge to listened to it again and... omg I can't stand theses characters!! and some of the conversational dialogue is just beyond dull and/or irritating... I felt more annoyed and not caring about anyone, by the little time the xenomorph get some time to shine, it just doesn't make up for all the stuff that puts you through for an ok generic payoff's... not worth it. Try Alien Phalanx, it's a fun unique standalone novel with more xenomorph.
