I like a good "who done it" and this was a great book. I liked the unique story line and the myriad of interesting characters. Nils was likeable and the story seemed realistic (which I appreciate). Great book.

OOOOH!! Twists and turns :)
Revisado: 06-11-18
I listened to another of Kathryn's books and this one was not a disappointment. Since I had read a book before, I did try to figure out what would happen next, but I was surprised at every turn. I enjoyed the "real life" characters and was able to relate to the main character (Mia). Alison was a little over the top at times, but that was part of her character I guess. I enjoyed the narration and the 2 characters had a good distinction between them. I would recommend this book.

Kept me guessing
Revisado: 06-11-18
I enjoyed this story. I often multi-task, but this one required a little bit of focus. I tried to figure out the story line, but definitely some twists and turns. I was at times nervous and anxious to find out what would happen next. Some things were a little over the top, but I guess it is all part of the fun. I would recommend this book.

Good book, easy listening
Revisado: 06-11-18
This was a good book and easy to multi-task and listen. Somewhat predictable and a little disappointed that there wasn't any true drama or suspense in the book, but I would still recommend it. The daughter's voice was a little annoying at times, but having a 5 year old myself, it was relatively realistic in her interests and capacity to understand the situation. Somewhat over the top with the instant bond, but relatively believable. I could relate to the main character, she seemed like a real person. I would recommend this as a nice easy listen.

Another great Joshilyn story
Revisado: 06-11-18
Although my first book and still favorite by Joshilyn is "A grown up kind of pretty", I am still chasing that high :) I did thoroughly enjoy this book though! I was a little saddened by the sister relationship, but I enjoyed the supernatural element. I enjoyed the interview with the author at the end and agreed that she didn't shove the ghost thing down the reader/listeners throat. I LOVE Joshilyn as the narrator and feel so connected to the characters as she reads. I would recommend this book.

Good book, kept me interested
Revisado: 06-11-18
I enjoyed this book. A little "over the top" with the sister thing, kind of repetitious. I am often multi-tasking while listening to books and this was an easy read. Sometimes books are hard to follow, but this was easy listening, realistic and I enjoyed the narration a lot.

I really enjoyed this story! It was a little difficult through the audio version to keep track of the characters. Although there were 2 narrators for the different characters, they were similar enough that I had to keep track my own ways to follow along. I would recommend this book and I finished it within a day and a half!

Wow! What a great perspective
Revisado: 05-31-18
I enjoyed this book, felt it was very realistic and I was part of the family. It was refreshing to read a story about acceptance and love, while still maintaining some sense of reality. It wasn't all roses and rainbows, but a true sentiment to the struggle of a family dealing with a trans-gendered child. The love was evident and I was rooting for them throughout the story. The parents weren't perfect, they didn't always make the right decision, but all decisions were grounded in love. Great read whether you are impacted by these types of issues or not.

Wow! Interesting and twisty
Revisado: 05-31-18
I enjoyed this book. Sometimes I have a hard time starting a new audio book, but this one grabbed my interest from chapter 1 and kept me engaged throughout. I was continually guessing and wondering lots of things, but it is all explained by the end. Kelsey was very like-able and engaging, yet realistic. I thought it got somewhat far fetched at the end, but I could forgive it since the story was unfolding, but I am more of a realist. A good read (listen).
