I truly enjoyed this book. Great story, creative exposition and a really fun and likable protagonist. Vampires are always awesome, but I especially love how they are introduced in this story and I look forward to seeing where it goes from here. Love, sex, blood, vampires, everything you could want is here along with a main character you will remember and miss once the story is over. The narration is incredible. Amber Benson brings the character to life and sucks you into a beautiful world. I recommend checking this out.

Bloodmaid of good, not exceptional taste

I struggled a little bit with this one. I was a huge fan of Year Of The Witching, and i was excited to get into this novel, but it didn't keep my attention like I thought it would. I found myself more enthralled with the stories not told instead of the stories told. The idea of being different houses is intriguing, and I wanted to know more about that. The overall story was good, slow at times but good. I wanted to care more about the characters, but mainly only cared about the main ones. The narration was really good. Decent performance. Overall, I would recommend Year of The Witching over this one, but it's a good novel to pick up at some point.

I thought the voice actress did very well. Easy to follow and I never once felt lost. The story I felt was slightly predictable, however it still made for a fun and horrific ride to the very end.
