Too much music.

Loud background music was distracting and made it difficult to understand the narrator at times especially for my kids

Historia
In the third book in Rick Riordan's epic Norse mythology series, Magnus and his friends take a boat trip to the farthest borders of Jotunheim and Niflheim in pursuit of Asgard's greatest threat. Life preservers are mandatory for this wet, wild, and wondrous adventure.

Overall good but still a little disappointing
Revisado: 10-05-17
The story does tie up the loose ends for the most part but it seemed to be wrapped up a little more quickly than was necessary. More off was the use of a 3rd reader in three books which really threw off the story a bit since pronunciations and voices are very different with each one. With the other books in the Percy Jackson universe to include the Kane chronicles used the same reader within the 5 part (3 part with the Kane chronicles) series and only changed when a new series started. This allowed for continuity and so it is a little jarring when it changes for each book in this series.

Historia
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

Quite honestly and surprisingly made me rethink my life and where I was going wrong and how I needed to re evaluate my values. Great book.

Historia
Buddhism is all about training the mind, and boot camp is an ideal training method for this generation's short attention span. The chapters in this audiobook can be listened in any order, and are simple and easy to understand. Each story, inspirational quote, and teaching offers mindfulness-enhancing techniques that anyone can relate to. You don't need to be a Buddhist to find the Buddha's teachings motivational. As the Dalai Lama says, "Don't try to use what you learn from Buddhism to be a Buddhist; use it to be a better whatever-you-already-are."
