Glad it's the end

Ugh this narrator! She's not very good. No voice changes. She said monotonally, "Stop, she exclaimed!" Wait, she did? Just hard to follow who's says what and how it was intended. Only made it to this book because curiosity got the best of me. Seemed like the author added books when a few more chapters in the previous book would have been enough. The character Emma, got kind of anoying. Will not be listening or reading this series any longer.

A short reminder that a little kindness goes a long way, especially during times of grief. The quotes at the beginning of each chapter became more anoying as the storytelling went on. Mostly because the chapters were so short and therefore many quotes. May listen to next book in the series may not.

I liked the story enough. It is hard to listen to a series read by multiple people. The 1st reader was ok. I didn't like his portrayal of Win of Big Cindy. The next reader was the author. Just horrible all around and couldn't wait for book to be done. Now on 3rd reader. Does a great Win, a good Myron & his parents. Needed to hear the accent for Esperanza as it was no longer there & her "new" voice is awful. Also I think readers should listen to previous books in series. The author pronounced a main character as Therese and this reader, for some reason made it all french & pronounced it The`re`se. So very annoying. If only reading this series, it's good overall and really keeps me guessing.

Thank God that's over. Sorry but the author performance was just Awful! Not the best Harlon Coben book. It just seemed all over the place.
