“Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name…”
Finally! An author who, like Timothy Zahn, can craft a dialog without the highly offensive misuse of God’s name.
No one really speaks like most of the authors imagine.
As I cruise through the Audible offerings, most of the books I sample are deleted by the first paragraph as casual blasphemies are blithely tossed into the conversation. I mark the author and narrator as “do not read” and move on.
I also wonder at the narrators…. Who would be willing to utter aloud such bilge?

Great narration for an excellent story. Where the modern trend is to fill the pages with graphic sex scenes, horrific violence, and the worst of crude
language, Dick Francis instead entertains with suspense and a rational storyline.
