Historia
Jane Grey was queen of England for nine days. Her father and his allies crowned her instead of the dead king's half sister, Mary Tudor, who quickly mustered an army, claimed her throne, and locked Jane in the Tower of London. When Jane refused to betray her Protestant faith, Mary sent her to the executioner's block, where Jane transformed her father's greedy power grab into tragic martyrdom.

Oh what a moving story. I wish the epilogue had included as to if Queen Elizabeth bothered Lady Mary again. God Bless the ladies of olde from Queen Elizabeth I's Court.

Historia
Already cited on the floor of Congress and discussed in the corridors of the Pentagon as a book all Americans should read, One Second After is the story of a war scenario that could become all too terrifyingly real. Based upon a real weapon - the Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP) - which may already be in the hands of our enemies, it is a truly realistic look at the awesome power of a weapon that can destroy the entire United States.

It's amazing how much my childhood has in common
Revisado: 07-26-17
Interesting but sometimes hard to believe that Kent was eating out of trash cans for weeks and nobody at school could tell that he was homeless. Then his mother would show up in a house after abandoning him. Why didn't he just sleep there. It is awesome that Kent survived to live an ordinary life.

Historia
The life of Princess May of Teck is one of the great Cinderella stories in history. From a family of impoverished nobility, she was chosen by Queen Victoria as the bride for her eldest grandson, the scandalous Duke of Clarence, heir to the throne, who died mysteriously before their marriage. Despite this setback, she became queen, mother of two kings, grandmother of the current queen, and a lasting symbol of the majesty of the British throne.

Fiddle Faddle! Ruined it for me
Revisado: 06-30-17
Why have a character constantly say "fiddle faddle?" So obnoxious and it took away from my ability to submerge myself into the history and the story. What a shame.
