misses the mark

I liked the idea of continuing the story with the children of the BDB, but this formula has been overdone by now. Uninteresting characters doing the same thing they do in every other book. It's hard to keep caring. The narrator is amazing as always, but this will probably be my last BDB book.

I really can't get past Desiree's male voices. Should have had Gregory only do male and Desiree only do female voice parts, no matter the chapter.

calm down y'all, the narrator is great

seriously, I barely noticed the narrator was different. Cobb did a great job. Great conclusion to the story. I don't think I'll grab the next two books as audio books, but otherwise great performance overall

Glad I picked this one up

I was hesitant to start this book, but after learning Jennifer Ikeda was the narrator, I went for it. I loved her performance in every other audiobook I've listened to and she was great in this one as well. I also really enjoyed this story and am excited for the next in the series.

story is ok but voice actors superb

It's hard to find good voice actors for romance novels, but they really pulled it off here. Michelle is very good and Teddy's voice makes me absolutely weak in the knees. The writing is good and the story is ok, but you should get this book alone just to listen to Teddy.. absolutely mouth watering.

I really enjoyed this smut. I even really liked the narrators. I have a lot of confusion about what the 13 are. Gods? Humans? How does the barrier work between the outside world and Olympus? Is it magic or a wall with guards? What about the barrier between the two sides of the river? Where is Olympus? Is it a City-state? Does it exist inside of another realm, or is it a part of Ohio? Do people outside of Olympus know about it?

The prison camp storyline is a great addition to BDB and cannot wait for it to continue. Or rather, I'm excited to discover how it ends.

I really loved this storyline. Lots of negative reviews, but I completely disagree. There were not too many POVs, I don't know where that remark comes from. There are no more POVs than any other BDB book. I think it's the perfect amount for the story.

I also am in love with V's response to Jose/Butch. V is slowing growing as a character and I love to see that he's not perfect and still learning. The V we met in the first book is not the same V we see today. He learned to love in his previous storylines and in this book, he's learning to be loved. Melts my heart.
