I never really thought about diving into the world of mythology until I was gifted this complete box set audiobook. Some of the definitions get a bit tedious but otherwise it was extremely interesting to learn more about ancient folklore and what shaped a lot of cultures.

I would recommend this book to anyonw who is interested in mythology or really in ancient history. You will learn much but it will take you a while, 21 hours to be exact! It's worth a listen.

There is a lot to like about this book but I will highlight a few. First of all is the author’s genuine tone and desire to help you become a better speaker.

Second, is the wide applicability of this book. Whether you are wanting to deliver the best eulogy or preparing a presentation for a worldwide audience, this book will give you all the tools you need.

Furthermore, it includes a chapter about using AI tools to improve your speech and speaking abilities which is crucial in today’s age.

Finally, the emphasise of this book is your own flair, authenticity, and story, ensuring your message will be unique instead of just formulaic. I definitely recommend this book!

I was a little lost at times with the exercises, and I think it might be easier to follow along in e-book or paperback version. However, still great info about lack of attention and how to become way more productive. Great listen overall.

Having a very healthy marriage and friendships, I wasn't sure this book would bring me much. But I've got the say, the information it contains is very interesting. I always believe that 'Every day is a school day" and reading this book will definitely teach you something new. In the age of 24/7 screentime this is a very timely and important lesson on how to actually do relationships (face-to-face) in a healthy way.

As a mom and business owner, I found "How to Be More Assertive" to be a real eye-opener. It tackles the people-pleasing habit head-on, offering practical advice for setting boundaries. The book's conversational style made it an easy read between meetings and mom duties. I've already put some techniques into practice, both in the boardroom and at home. While some advice felt a bit repetitive, the overall message is solid. It's not just about saying 'no', but about valuing your own time and needs. If you're juggling multiple roles and feeling stretched thin, this book might just be the pep talk you need.

I picked up "Your Changing Body" to prepare for future talks with my daughter. It's a gentle, informative read that doesn't shy away from important topics. The book balances biological facts with emotional guidance, which I appreciate as a Christian mom. It's written in a way that's easy for young girls to understand without being childish. I like how it emphasizes self-love and body positivity. While some parts felt a bit too progressive for my taste, it's sparked good conversations in our household. It's a solid starting point for navigating the tricky waters of puberty with your daughter.

As a working mom watching my own mother age, I was drawn to this book to help them stay active and balanced. The approach to Tai Chi and Qigong is refreshingly accessible, breaking down complex movements into manageable steps. I've been practicing alongside my parents during weekend visits, and we've all noticed improvements in our balance and overall sense of calm. The focus on fall prevention is particularly valuable, addressing a major concern for seniors. I appreciate how the book links physical movements to cognitive health, providing a holistic approach to aging well. While some concepts felt a bit esoteric at first, the practical benefits quickly became apparent. It's not an instant fix, but rather a journey towards better body awareness and stability. The gentle nature of the exercises makes it perfect for seniors, but I've found myself incorporating some movements into my own hectic days for stress relief. A worthwhile investment in long-term health and wellbeing for all ages.

As a 35-year-old with an aging mom, I picked up this book to help them stay active and independent. I'm impressed by how well it breaks down strength training for seniors. The exercises are clearly explained and adaptable for different fitness levels, which is perfect for my mom who's hesitant about working out. I appreciate the focus on practical, functional strength that translates to everyday activities. The sections on balance and mobility are particularly valuable, addressing concerns my parents have expressed about falling. While I'm not the target audience, I've found myself incorporating some of the gentler exercises into my own routine on recovery days. The book's tone is encouraging without being patronizing, which my parents appreciate. It's not a miracle cure for aging, but it offers a solid, achievable approach to maintaining strength and independence in later years. A great resource for seniors or anyone looking to help their older loved ones stay active and healthy.

As a busy mom and wife, I found this book to be a real eye-opener. It tackles the often-unspoken issues that can slowly erode even the strongest marriages. The practical communication strategies have already made a noticeable difference in how my partner and I handle disagreements. I particularly appreciated the sections on managing anxiety and negative thinking - they've helped me recognize and address my own patterns that were contributing to tension. The advice on rebuilding trust is compassionate yet action-oriented, offering hope without sugar-coating the work involved. While some concepts felt familiar, the book presents them in a fresh, applicable way. It's not a magic fix, but it's definitely given us valuable tools to strengthen our bond. A worthwhile read for any couple looking to deepen their connection and navigate life's challenges together.
