J.R. Ward let's me down yet again.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

BDB newcomers will like this book; but those of us who remember the first 6 books that started it all, long for her to get back on track.

What was most disappointing about J. R. Ward’s story?

This is suppose to be a spin-off and 1st book, this is a very weak start, very weak; if not down right bad.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Jim Frangione?

Only Jim Frangione can be the narrator of her series, but he must go back to his original reading of the cast names.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Sadness and disappointment

Sadly this will be the last book for me unless this author who started my enjoyment of this genre starts to get her mo jo back

What made the experience of listening to Midnight's Kiss the most enjoyable?

The narrator. As with all books in audio form this can make or break a listener's experience with a book; especially if the written word is so well done as was the case with all of Thea Harrison's books.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Midnight's Kiss?

There is not just one, the entire book begs you to listen again when you finish so that you are sure you did not miss anything. Not one future hint or past revisited to keep your memory fresh.

What does Sophie Eastlake bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

A voice to the wonderful characters we have come to enjoy while reading this series; and then she brings even that much more just when you think you heard it all.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

My emotions were even tempered. All the right chords were struck doing the narrator's performance.

To the author and all it concerns...Yes we reader's have high expectations for this and future books, but we do so out of the joy for reading. Please do not disappoint.

What did you love best about Kade's Dark Embrace?

Can not give any spoilers her.You must get Book 1 and Book 4. Audible please get the rest of this series right now..

Who was your favorite character and why?

Every character is important because in Books 2,3,4,5,6, you have to have read the other charcter's story to see how that play into the over all series as set up in the first book

Which scene was your favorite?

I have no favorite one, some maybe uncomfortable but are important to the story and there are so many surprises. Love all Immortals..Look for more of these series on audible.

IMMORTALS OF NEW ORLEANS

Audible please find the other books in audio, if they do not exist, please by the writes to record then an only use RYAN WEST to narrate them only he can do this series justice.

J.D. Tyler yes. Marguerite Gavin no

Who was your favorite character and why?

All of them. Kirsten Potter had established these characters in all the previous books in this series..this is why the narrator was so awful...she had no concept of how the characters had been developed and so her voice portrayls did not fit the story concept. The storyline as always was great and in keeping w/the series.

How could the performance have been better?

KRISTEN POTTER IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE WHAT COULD AND WOULD HAVE MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE. Anytime you see her as the narrator, the narration will always be character driven and each of them will have their own distinct voices. Look up her name and get the different Highlander series she narrates, by Maya Banks.....Rowan Keats. Dianne Duvall has a series narrated by her that is great.

Was Wolf's Fall worth the listening time?

NO....this one has to be read as oppose to audible listening alone. All the others in this series is so worth the credit.....and listening time because of Kirsten Potter

What disappointed you about Bared to You?

THIS AUTHOR DOES NOT FINISHED HER BOOKS. IF YOU HAVE EVERY READ HER OTHER, SHE STARTS WHAT HER SO CALLED MIND CAN NOT FINISH. i LEARNED THE HARD WAY. I NOT ONLY AM BLESSED TO BUY MY BOOK AND THEN SEE IF THE CHARACTERS I IMAGINED ARE BROUGHT TO LIFE BY A STELLAR CHARACTER READER. THIS AUTHOR DOES NOT RESPECT THE FACT THAT THOSE WHO HAVE MONEY TO INDULGE IN A GUILTY PLEASURE DO SO BECAUSE IT IS DESERVED. THINK ABOUT THE ONES WHO HAVE TO SAVE ALL YEAR WHILE YOU TAKE YOU PRECIOUS TIME WRITING THE SO CALL NEXT BIG THING, AND INSTEAD FALL DOWN ON THE JOB BY WRITING ONLY ABOUT SEX. YOU STARTED OUT WITH WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN A GREAT STORY LINE W/SEX ONLY WHEN NEEDED. RESPECT YOUR FANS. If you could sum up Lover Eternal, The Black Dagger Brotherhood, Book 2 in three words, what would they be?

Great book but you have to get use to the narrortor's voice. when you don't like the book it is because of the writing. J.R. ward does not always get it right, but the series overall is Great. I like this book because I like the character Rhage, and wanted to know his background story and I got it. When you read them all then you will understand. Some will be good and you will want to get all the details, and other serve the purpose of just moving the story along. Worth the investment... even the bad ones.

What other book might you compare Lover Eternal, The Black Dagger Brotherhood, Book 2 to and why?

I wouldn't. This is a book in a series of 12 or more.

Did Jim Frangione do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Not in this BDB book, but when he gets it right...it's great

That something extra that I did not know I was not getting from Jim Frangitone of BDB fame.

It was drama, funny , action, and most of all NIX

J.R WARD WAKE UP GIRLFRIEND. I DISCOVERED KRESLEY COLE WHILE WAITING ON YOU 7TH BOOK OF BDB; WHICH IS THE 1ST PLACE YOU LOST ME. I HELD THE FAITH UNTIL YOU GOT BACK ON THE BDB TRAIN AGAIN. STOP WITH THE WEAK AS? JOHN MATTHEW AND BLAY AND QYUINN. STICK TO ONLY BDB WITH SIDE CHARACTERS, OR I AM GONE. YOU NEVER DISAPPOINT KRESLEY COLE!!!!!!!!!!!

Would you try another book from J. D. Tyler and/or Kirsten Potter?

yes I would. 1st thing kirsten potter has a gift to tell a story. Listen authors and publishers, you may have a good story plot, just know narration is the key to having your books sold and heard. Please take Angela Dawe, Justine Eyre, off the list when you choose a narrarator; it make or break the book.

Would you be willing to try another book from J. D. Tyler? Why or why not?

yes I would but only if kirsten potter or phil gigante, or jim frantione are the narrator. Do the authors not listen to their own audiobook?

What about Kirsten Potter’s performance did you like?

she does male and female voices so great. She also does accents so effortlesy. French, Highlander brough voices, Brittish see can do them all. When the action scenes take place she takes you right there, and when it is a sex scene she doesn't make you feel ICKY.

Did Primal Law inspire you to do anything?

yes, I bought all the books of the Alpha Pack series. I hope there is more.
