Great story, I am not usually into this genre but I’m definitely into this author so I gave it a try. I was totally drawn into the world of Mercy and can’t wait for more it has to offer!

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

If you like erotica and kink sure....but this just goes way too far, and there was no storyline it just seemed like just a premise for detailing quite cliche scenes from a "how to besmirch for dummies" book...I never thought I'd DNF a KA book

disappointment, I love KA...have listened to most of her books over and over but sorry, alpha subs are not her forte

An equally exciting sequel

Just as good as the original and yet making me long for the next instalment. Such a great heroine and interesting world building and accessory characters.

Interesting character development and the story is very complex and engagjng but I was disappointed it didn't really end. Not your typical vampire romance.

What disappointed you about Who He Is?

I really liked the main character, until she just keeps doing the should I or shouldn't I routine with the male lead, for way too long that I got bored and I couldn't even finish it.

What do you think your next listen will be?

The next Kristen Ashley book....why oh why do we have to wait so long???

Unfortunate accent

What disappointed you about Beauty from Pain?

I really wanted to get into this book but I just could not handle the male narrator's attempt at an Australian accent. It was so poorly done, I don't understand why they didn't get a native accented Australian to narrate as it was pivotal to plot. I DNF at about 30 minutes. Too bad, I guess I'll have to read it. If you can suspend judgement on the accent you will probably enjoy this…I am not Australian but am married to one so I know what it should sound like :P

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Female narrator was pretty good (southern accent) male narrator was not even close to an australian accent.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Story is really engaging right from the beginning.
