Lachlan, the known enforcer for the O'Rourke clan, finally has his story and of course would end up with Katya, the Bratva princess. He comes in to save her from an awful marriage but thinks he is unworthy of her because of his sins. All while they bond over being in the shadow of their family either by choice or not. It was a great story narrated by talented people.

Definitely check the trigger warnings on this one. The back story of Priscilla and Riordan have known each other as teens with crushes on each other but an attack on Priscilla changed everything. Years later, she is now working for the FBI and now that Riordan has found her, he is not going to let her go. The narrators did a great job with the accents and portraying the characters.

Liza is engaged against her will for her family's sake. While Roman is trying to fight his attaction to Liza and getting involved with her would complicate business. The story was already great! It is even better now that it is read by great narrators. They embody Liza and Roman really well.

Kieran is the head if the Irish mafia who believes he can never find love again after his fiancé had passed. Isabella is the young wife he had bargained for in order to get an heir. The narrator for Kieran could use some for more inflection in the narration. Isabella's narrator portrays her really well. The story is very well done and the characters have chemistry.

The last of the series and it was really good. The male narrator grew some on me but there times his delivery was too full angst and over the top. The story was engaging but I think I'll still read the book to get a better understanding of the male characters.

This is my first audiobook from this author and it was well done. The narrators sound like the characters they portray and they did an awesome job in representing the book. I have been reading her books for a while and now listening to them is great.

Fantastic story and doesn't pull any punches. The chemistry between Joshua and Gia is very hot. it is also cool to know what the characters from the Mazzone series have been up to and that they are still very much in love. It ends on a crazy cliffhanger! Can't wait for the next book!!
