Love the book. Story has a good amount of action and solid plot. Can’t wait for the next book. I hope it still follows the same MC on her new team and survival.

Frustrating MC

The MC is just making me frustrated by trying too hard for his friends. He and his friends also easily gives out information to third parties which doesn’t fit his suppose past personality. He also performed like a supporting character who just can’t kill the enemies when it mattered. Also, it’s annoying to hear his friend always trying to make jokes and also trying to save everyone. I need action, not jokes that stalls actions. Overall, the MC caters to his best friends too often that he looks like a supporting side character.

Could have been better!

Book could have been better. Narrator was excellent but all the sorcery or magic in the story didn't make the plot good. To me, it's a little strange. I would prefer it with just monsters. This is just my personal preference.

Great Book!

Not much to say about book 1 but it's interesting so far. The ending makes me want to know the follow up events. Narrator is excellent. Easy to follow along without being irritated by the voice. Will definitely read book 2.

Great Action Series

I loved the action in the book but dislike the love plots. Especially in book 1 the woman the MC liked. I feel that there are plenty of more intelligent woman around but he fell for the one who is stubborn and makes a lot of dumb decision. She seem to be dragging the MC down in my opinion. For example, making the MC run around for her without considering the MCs safety or when the camp was attack, she goes around screaming attracting attention to her and not carrying any self defense weapon when she was reminded just to be capture making the MC having to come save her. So yes, she feels like a dragging oil bottle. It was hard to finish without being frustrated. Book 2-4 gets better in comparison because she was less in the story or her dumb action lessen but there are more other better action to keep the story interesting. What is memorable to me is the affection and action when fighting the variants between the MC and his dog. I look forward to the next book release and hope to see more action between the MC and his new dog companion.
