Really?
Revisado: 08-03-23
For a person who has been dealing with quality pain for over 40 years I can only say the recommendations in this book are for those with pseudo pain or pain levels of a 5 and below. I was truly hoping for something more. Hopefully some others may see their personal “holy grail” but for those of us deal with person pain levels of 7 and above you are out of luck here.

Couldn’t keep going
Revisado: 10-16-21
I tried I really did but as someone who teaches people to be prepared this book isn’t what I would want for a resource. Even worse was the reader. More intent on clear speech and could care less about the subject matter he was reading. I made it to the second chapter and screamed enough!

Revisado: 08-01-21
If MS James only knew the inter workings of a BDSM relationship. Being a Master for over 50 years how Christian works is a true sin. Subs are cherished and never exposed as in the last scene. If your thinking about trying the lifestyle please, please talk to someone with true experience. Far too many are hurt or worse every year by wanna be”s.

Historia
In Stoops's journey from player to struggling graduate assistant to legendary head coach, it becomes clear that his dedication to football is about far more than the sport itself. Big Game Bob, as he is known by adorning Sooners, made a name for himself not only by rebuilding the OU football program and leading the team to multiple conference championships but also by adhering to a strong set of principles at a time when corruption was rampant across the NCAA.

A TRUE WINNER!
Revisado: 07-18-21
I call myself fortunate because I’ve met Bobby and was introduced to him by Barry Switzer. His sons were playing high school ball with our grandsons. What can a man say to sit in the stands watching our kids play and having two of the greatest living coaches talking about it. Bob Stoops is the man of the book; straight forward and honest. Take the time to learn the real Bob Stoops the man his players knew and that thousands of Oklahomans love.

Historia
From 1999 to 2009, U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle recorded the most career sniper kills in United States military history. The Pentagon has officially confirmed more than 150 of Kyles kills (the previous American record was 109), but it has declined to verify the astonishing total number for this book. Iraqi insurgents feared Kyle so much they named him al-Shaitan ("the devil") and placed a bounty on his head.

A TRUE HERO
Revisado: 07-18-21
What can be said about Chris Kyle that probably hasn’t been said before? How about he loved his brothers and his country. Chris didn’t fight for us per say he fought for those serving with him to keep them safe so they could come home to their families. For those who want to say he was a killer; yes he was thank God. War is not for the debaters nor is it for the liberals who run from their own shadows. WAR IS HELL!!!
If I’m kicking doors I want an Overwatch like Chris. I want someone who won’t hesitate to reach out and “touch someone”. It saddens me greatly that Chris was taken from us by a Marine who was far too troubled and not helped enough before Chris tried to help him.
As a firearms instructor I learned from Chris’s death. I always wear my vest at the range now with students no matter how hot it may be.
Rest In Peace Chris many owe their lives to you and will never forget “The Legend”.

Historia
George S. Patton was a general who achieved greatness in his field by contradicting his own nature. A cavalryman steeped in romantic military tradition, he nevertheless pulled a reluctant American military into the most advanced realms of highly mobile armored warfare. An autocratic snob, Patton created unparalleled rapport and loyalty with the lowliest private in his command.

Patton; a man for all time
Revisado: 03-15-21
I thoroughly enjoyed this book because it gave me a chance to understand what my father endured. My father served under “Blood and Guts” Patton in Africa, Sicily and Italy. During that time he also received the Purple Heart with 3 Oakleaf clusters. I never understood fully until now why my father would say that they would have followed Patton to the gates of Hell. I remember of his telling me of the cold still nights in North Africa where they would hear Patton’s siren on his staff car for what seemed like hours only to get a quick glimpse of him standing as he rapidly passed. In later years long after my father had passed I got to know a next door neighbor. He too had served under Patton but in a much different role. Colonel Robert “Bob”Clark had served as an aid to Lt. Gen.Patton when Patton ordered the weather prayer. Several years ago now on a hot August evening Col. Clark shared something with me that I will never forget. It was the prayer, the original prayer hand written in pencil on a thin piece of cardboard. I stood there reading it and thought of my father and of course the movie but mostly how for that brief time I held a piece of history that millions have only read about. In these days of cancel culture and all the other clique words being thrown about I understand all to fully how a nation that was valued and fought for so hard has been given away by so many who not only would not fight but wouldn’t even take the time to look up from their phones to realize what they’re loosing. Thank you Dad, thank you Col. Clark and thank you General Patton. May God bless each of you.

Shameful Narrative
Revisado: 02-27-21
Mr. Vance comes off extremely pompous with his “history” lesson before his performance. To make the assumptions that neither World Wars should have taken place had the participants read and studied The Art Of War before they started makes them appear to be no more than school yard fights. And he certainly knows nothing about this book being taught to the United States military where it is actually taught extensively. His assertions come off quite liberal and as a person who has never seen actual combat.
I have read several versions and translations thus far because of the way it has been translated from the original. Sadly this version has been tainted by Mr. Vances viewpoints. That said there are other Audible selections of The Art of War that may serve you better.

Historia
As head coach of the Oklahoma Sooners, Barry Switzer was the fourth most successful coach in NCAA history. Both praised and reviled by the media as the "outlaw" of college football, Switzer was characterized as the "greatest rogue, pirate, hustler, and con man" ever to command a football team. As head coach for the Dallas Cowboys, he led America's team to victory in Superbowl XXX. In Bootlegger's Boy, Switzer gets the chance to tell it all from his point of view.

I’ve known Barry for over 30 years now and his recall of facts still amazes me. I treasure the times we have just sat and talked. There is so much more to the man Barry Switzer and how he is dedicated to not only his family but to his players and the community. Nor does he speak of his organization that trains rescue dogs that he and his wife donate for free to Search & Rescue groups.

Historia
They've called Barry Switzer a "rogue, pirate, hustler, and con man", but they also say he's "next to God." He's one of the most successful coaches in NCAA history, winning multiple college championships and a Super Bowl, and possibly the most revered figure in the state of Oklahoma. The "outlaw" of college football, Switzer was both praised and reviled by the media, but everyone agrees that he was undeniably one of the all-time best recruiters, strategists, and motivators ever to deliver a halftime speech.

Historia
Meet Michael Blutrich, mild-mannered New York lawyer and founder of Scores, the hottest strip club in New York City history, funded by the proceeds of an insurance embezzlement scheme. All Blutrich wanted was to lay low, make the club a success, and put his criminal acts behind him. But the Mafia got involved, and soon the FBI came knocking. Scores became wildly popular, in part thanks to Blutrich's ability to successfully bend the rules of adult entertainment. Unfortunately for Blutrich, it would all soon implode.

Revisado: 02-11-21
Michael did a wonderful job reading as well as writing his book. The detail he puts forth on names and dates after all these years is quite simply amazing. If you want an example of how the FBI and the government treat people who help them then this book is an eye opener.
