The accent 🤦🏻♀️
Revisado: 05-07-25
Great ending to the series the only thing I had an issue with was the narrator’s inability to do a Scottish accent 😅 I spent more time laughing at the oddly Jamaican accent that kept coming out. I’d love to know who heard that and thought wow that’s a great Scottish accent!

Historia
Without the threat of the Witch’s bloody harvest, the family elders have fallen into chaos. Internal squabbling has left them blind to this new enemy in their midst. Local legends have barely begun to fade when a group of tourists go missing. Some say the Witch has returned. But Basheba, Mina, and the others believe it could be something even worse. As the survivors dig deeper, they discover that one of their own may have been corrupted by an ancient evil - a power greater than anything they have faced before. But is the Bell Witch behind all this?

Great story! Awesome narrator! There’s nothing better than a narrator that gets into the part and really gives it everything!

Such a let down
Revisado: 01-20-25
I loved the Book of Azrael but the series has gotten progressively worse. The world building is not great, the miscommunication trope is the worst writing device ever, and the fact that every other chapter is awkward smut made me stop reading this book for months at a time and skip entire chapters. Besides the less than stellar storyline the narrator was trying to do way too much with some of her character portrayals, to where I could barely stomach scenes that included Reggie. Finishing this book was more a chore than anything remotely enjoyable.

Such a great series I need the next one to come out immediately! The storyline is awesome with just enough humor to make it addictive!
