Smart and entertaining
Revisado: 02-16-25
The book is written by an educated young woman. It has a lot of solid scientific examples and suggestions.
At the same time, it’s easy and enjoyable to listen to. It’s not often I enjoy nonfiction.
Even if you decide to use a different brand of buttons, you should listen to this book . She is the ground breaker on this topic.

Great production- Mom is shockingly disappointing
Revisado: 10-18-19
So the production was great.
My real issue is with Mom, who’s children lived a horrid life and she keeps going to the idea that it was probably a blessing that allowed her to have a new life with her new husband. What???
I find it bizarre that mom was never able to acknowledge the pain her children experienced.

Love it but...
Revisado: 07-19-17
I loved this book. It was well written and compelling. The actor did an amazing job.
My problem with the book was the number of characters made it really hard for me to keep their stories straight. There were 5 children, their spouses, a granddaughter, and the parents. As Hunter bounced from story to story, I found myself constantly wondering who we were talking about now. Was a past story being updated or was yet another new character was being introduced? I have a hard time remembering names as it is and keeping things straight made the audio book very difficult to follow.
I finally spent a half hour on an internet search for information on the family tree. It was a little difficult to find. Below is what I found. I kept it nearby as I listened.
The Kurc family member is listed first, their spouse 2nd and children next.

This is a 1 hour childrens book
Revisado: 12-19-16
Any additional comments?
Shame on me for not looking at how long this book was. I was totally disappointed to find out I had wasted a credit on a one hour book written for a 2nd grader. Wasn't anything particularly wrong with the book if you want a children's book. Just wish Audible would have made the grade level of this book apparent.
