The newest installment in K.M. Nuehold's Four Bear Construction series is a roller coast ride of fun, serious and sexy times. This installment features West, Dare's nephew and Sawyer, the owner of Wooley's Bar. West and Sawyer are best friends who slowly fall in love, despite Sawyers attempts to not fall for West.

West has a major crush on Sawyer, is being pressured by his friends to give up on waiting for Sawyer. He decides to starts dating, but each of them seems to have so quirk that makes West end of those dates early. West loves spending time with Sawyer, and still harbors a crush, but if we can't date him, he can at least be friends with Sawyer.

Sawyer had a number of upheavals in his life over the last five years, things have finally started to slow. Between inheriting the bar and a house from Gus, the bar's previous owner, Sawyer hasn't really had time to look at dating, plus he suffered a bad breakup right as he inherited the bar, that has left him hesitant to date. He is happy with the friendship between West and him and doesn't want to rock the boat. Plus West is fifteen years younger and should be out enjoying life, not tied down to an older man that doesn't really want to go out and party.

West and Sawyer were great, even when I wanted to hit them upside the head for being stupid about their feelings for one another. Since they started out as friends, this book has a nice slow burn, with low angst. It's funny, sweet and sappy (occasionally), sexy and steamy with a HEA. It's really well written and you get to fall in love with West and Sawyer, as well as all the other guys from Four Bears Construction. I can't wait for the next installment in the series!

You can read this as a standalone, but I really recommending reading the four previous books, as you will miss out on a lot of fun as well as some back story, that makes this book more hilarious than it already is.

This was a super sweet and low angst book. Sterling has confidence issues for most of the book due to his birthmark, Barrett is slowly able to help him overcome those issues. I enjoyed Sterling's growth throughout the book, he went from a low confidence man to finally seeing his worth as a person, because Barrett continually showed him that he was loved and worthy even with the birthmark. Barrett was kind, generous and caring man from the start of the book, you didn't see as much growth from Barrett, but I don't think he really needed the growth like Sterling.

The dual narration was excellent, both narrators kept consistent voices for the characters throughout the book.

I enjoyed both main characters, while Peter annoyed me occasionally he overcame his shortcomings tone a better person. While Stephen grew as a character throughout the book.

The narrator did a good job of giving the main characters their own voice without going overboard.
