I LOVED the performance! Amazing job of creating all of the characters and imbuing them with the voice of the story. Wonderful story of life in-between. I could have done without all the F bombs and Mofos though!

Where does Benedict Cumberbatch Reads Sherlock Holmes' Rediscovered Railway Stories rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
So, I bought this first and foremost to listen to Benedict Cumberbatch's voice, secondly because I enjoy the Sherlock Holmes stories. I was more than gratified to find that partway through the first story I completely forgot that Benedict was reading and was drawn into the story. A truly wonderful combination of performance and story!
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
Sherlock's mysteries almost always keep me guessing.
What does Benedict Cumberbatch bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
A gorgeous voice and wonderful characterizations.

I never thought I would make it through a book written by one of the formidable Russian authors, but this one remained fascinating throughout. The performance was particularly affecting.
