Start to finish I thought the humorous banter and comedy of the vampire and his interactions with the characters around him was a serious highlight of this storyline. I am so looking forward to book 2.

Cliffhanger Reunion

As in all previous “Grand Game” books, the characters are uniquely engaging with a variety of different personalities and quirks. That said, the “cliffhanger” is killing me, honestly my only complaint is that I have to wait for the next book to release. Lol
I LOVE the story, characters, mechanics, lol, all the challenges poor Michael must overcome.
Looking forward to the next book!

Fantastic adventure

Amazing adventure, and interesting gaming mechanics, love the story, love the characters, great intertwining of law and history and magical mechanics. I can’t stop rereading these books. There should be a video game made out of this genre. My only criticism would be that for audiobooks and listening to a sample of the book. All you get is Michaels stats and items because it’s only a 10 minute sample and it’s the first 10 minutes of the actual book, Maybe not start with that. Overall, it is an amazing story and adventure and I look forward to the next few books.

This has been an amazing book series, looking forward to the final book, maybe even some return books for branching stories and characters. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a good adventure want to see it and a little bit of it.

Exhilarating

Fantastic book series, I really hope that there are more stories in the series to come. I haven’t been so excited for a book series in a really long time, well done to the author, thank goodness it is on audiobook because that’s the only way that I can enjoy any literature anymore. As a blind person audiobooks are sort of my life.

Blind Perspective

Full complements to the reader, it is a true gift to be able to immerse yourself into a fictional character and accurately project their emotional state. Well done indeed, it was a riveting experience to listen to and I hope you are the reader for the following volumes. As a blind individual, you could say I have a unique perspective, and therefore high expectation, of audiobook readers and how well they can project their characters.
As for the story itself, I was absolutely delighted when I stumbled across this title, I had read the original books before I lost my eyesight, so I am very familiar with Bella and Edwards story. It was immensely refreshing to get Edwards perspective and inner thoughts, as well as the thoughts of those around him, well done on that, I am splitting at the seams for the next installments, I really hope there will be future books following the original saga from Edwards perspective. I actually came across this book immediately after finding ”Life and Death” which I immensely enjoyed listening to, and I am eager to see if that story progresses further, I will gleefully by the first book released, despite not being able to physically read it. I strongly recommend anyone who has read the original twilight Saga to go back and revisit the story from Edwards perspective, like myself, you may find that you might have assumed the wrong motivations behind some of Edwards decisions and reactions in the first book. I am a large fan of the belief that there are always two sides to every story, and it is great to see an author who is willing to take the time to share both sides of her amazingly in-depth story.
Again, I am eagerly anticipating future releases and I can guarantee that I will be revisiting these stories many more times to come.
