I am just all over this couple

First off I went into this series not knowing it was a series. I started off at the very last one and then started having Deja Vu when Armstrong and Moorehead Media and Gwendolyn were mentioned. So looking back at the titles I've read I realized and after research that it was indeed a series. With that said it is a fantastic one to have gotten into. I loved Lexington and Ami. More than I did Lincoln and Wren.
2nd Helena Hunting is a Boss Babe when she does her writing and chooses her narrators because Jacob Morgan is sexy as all get out and describes everything with all the feels and it's just ahhh!!! So much emotion and angst and I just can't express what I feel. Muffy is such a lovely sweetheart and her modulation of her voice in her various emotional moments is on point. She is seriously superb and I love her something fierce. Now the two paired together made this book 1000000X better. Literally couldn't have asked for a better set of narrators for this book.
Now if you want good sex and steamy smutty all up in your face good stuff, but classy on top HH does it here. Not only do you get it in detail but you get it alot. I love the descriptions and how it's not just thrown in there as random pieces to fill the space of the book. Let's be real people, people have sex like their lives depend on it and sometimes that's what many relationships are founded on. This book does a fantastic job of playing sex into the characters lives in such a way that it's part of what makes their relationship so fun, but not so trashy that it's just another book filled with smutty, yet raunchy sex. They're tasteful. Plus you get a very long section of JM on backend pleasure so it's quite nice for a change of pace. Not to mention the humor. All in all this book has been bumped up to one of my listen agains and that's a very short list. It's that good. It is such a good story from start to end. I couldn't pull my ear buds out. I just wanted them to work out. so worth the credit.

Just wasn't for me

So, normally I won't choose a story on Audible of the narrators are unfamiliar. I knew ZW was going to be perfect and he was. EB was a new one for me and while she wasn't bad at all she wasn't doing it for me. I just felt she didn't fit the story. The story on the other hand was just not my thing. It was extremely slow, underplayed in so many ways, the characters didn't have enough moments to engage in friendly banter or getting to know each other. The snippet for the story didn't match at all and wasn't at all what we got. it basically ended as we expect but there was several chapters of fill where this book could have been cut in half and been fine without it. I'm not going to say it was a bad book, just that it wasn't for me.

It had good and bad moments

I really liked the narration of both JA and EM. They mesh well together and play their parts well. I liked the story to a degree, but I feel like their could have been a lot more to it. I can't place exactly what I feel is missing, but I just feel it was lacking. There was good backbone, good depth, but not enough meat. It's worth a listen for sure, but not worth a credit. I'd wait for it to go on sale.

Hilarious and fun. I thoroughly enjoyed the whitey banter between these two. It was a nice quick listen and I really enjoyed it. Great author. Great narrators. Definitely recommend.

Captivating. Utterly Captivating ❣

The final book in the brewed series and the most heartwarming. Beau and Savanah are the glue that marriages are made of. Beau is so feircly strong and loving and the protector that all girls dream of and Savanah is the loyal love and kind protector that is so pure and perfect that completes him in the ways a relationship should. The story is perfect and complete. The narration is equal parts sexy and adorable. I highly recommend this book. I recommend this author. the whole series is amazing. My favorite story however is Cason and Eberly, but I highly recommend all of the brewed books. I am currently reading Blackbird by Molly Mcadams and while it is an entirely different version than this series, it's still very good.

Mostly great with some issues

Let's start with the first two books since they go hand in hand. I enjoyed it. I enjoyed what became if Emma and Gavin, but I felt so heartbroken for Cooper. So it made me not like Emma. I know you can't help who you fall in love with, but it made me dislike her and the more Cooper suffered throughout I disliked Emma even more. It didn't help that I felt the narrator for Emma sounded much too old for the character of Emma. She is a great narrator, but for this series she didn't fit. Before knowing Emma's age I thought she was late 30s, and later when she voiced the 4th book I did not get the 22 year old vibe at all. I felt like Emma was too childish at times and then at times she was very mature. So there could have been a more clear distinction between her personality I guess. She was a great friend to everyone around her when she didn't know anyone and that showed who she was at heart and that made up alot for who she was. I still just couldn't get past her leading Cooper on. Gavin was like most brooding males and I felt like he could have had more of a role. Zachary Webber did a really fantastic job of portraying him. I got his vibe, his personality and his overall looks from his performance so that definitely helped when it came to understanding Gavin. I just wish Gavin had more to say. I felt like he could've added more to the story.
In book 3 Zachary Webber as Cooper is another legendary performance and I want to say even better than what he portrayed for Gavin. He epitomizes Coop. I loved the raw edge and angst he showed. He gave the epic nice guys finish last attitude and I loved it. I lived Corrinne. She was my favorite of all the girls. she had the biggest heart. Nothing she did was out of selfish feelings and self interest. And I had all the feels when Cooper felt betrayed. KR did a fantastic job with the writing on that and Zachary Webber was a god. The story was a classic as far as guy meets girl and girl has too much baggage and guy refuses to let go. Different take but same story. But it doesn't get old. Good read on this one. And by far this is my favorite read of this entire series.
Lastly, the 4th book, as I mentioned above the narrator Megan Tusing was also the narrator for our heroine. While as a narrator she is beautiful and amazing I don't think she was the right voice for this particular series and especially this 4th book. She has an older sounding voice and it's so good in a lot of other books but this one she didn't fit for me. her performance otherwise was great. I loved Annalise. she was mature for a 22 year old, but hard headed. still had a lot of life lessons to learn. I know Joe Arden wasn't going to disappoint and he certainly didn't. but his role was short lived. His character wasn't given enough time to love. I felt Quinn got the short stick. And maybe I missed what happened with the newfound brother, but that confused me and left me wondering what the heck??

Adorable, fun, charming

I love this book!!! Let me start off by saying Joe Arden narration is sexy as all get out. His voice compliments every role he voices and this is no exception. Especially since he co-wrote the book he has a personal investment in the characters and it shines through the characters and it is amazing. Erin Mallon is always a great fun narrator and she complimented Joe and is exactly who I pictured London would be when I read the book. she made the character stand out deeply and added so much pizaz to who London was and it was epic. I loved the back and forth of her best friends via text. That was such a great insight into who her friends were and how important they were to her life and how much their input was valued to her choices in life and how much she included them. I love Emma Wilder as the frisky audio book listener. It was hilarious to get the tidbit about Teddy sounding like her favorite audio book narrator 🤣👏. Her constant need to make every reference to a sexual part in an audio book is hilarious and in her personal narrative voice is epic. Lauren Blakely does a fantastic job as always and has not let me down. I am so pleased that Joe Arden is now not only my favorite Audiobook narrator, but now. favorite author. Can't get better than that. Must listen!!!!

Great finish to a great series!!!!

I loved this! I was happy to have a great ending and to learn of all the loose ends being wrapped up and it wasn't a jumbled mess. I like how LB tied all the characters together and the narrators did a fantastic job 👏. I simply loved the story.

You can't go wrong with Lauren B.

Like I said you can't go wrong with Lauren B. Especially when she has Joe and his freaking sexy as sin, melt in your mouth, chocolate smooth, swoon worthy voice doing the narration. My goodness he is perfection in all the right places. Can the world have a more perfect man voice than Joe Arden. I will eat, drink, sleep, dream, Joe Ardens voice in all narration because he is that good. He puts all the feels in all the characters. Seriously Lauren B you are a goddess 😍✨ and your books are always a wonderful addition to my collection. Andi Arndt is another beautiful babe voice and she pairs so well with Joe. you feel the chemistry and it just works so well. Thank you all who made this book what it is. It was amazing.
