Wow, this message is a must listen for men. It got to me on several parts, especially in my role as husband and father. The only shortcoming in my opinion, was that at times there was long periods (minutes) of non-verbal praise & worship which is great if you are there 'live', but in the car with audio only, it was difficult to 'feel' it while driving. However, TD Jakes is a divinely gifted preacher and his dynamic style more than overcomes the above mentioned shortcoming!

Timeless life applications!

I read this book right after it was first released in 1990 and I have used it for various aspects of my life, personal and business. I also had the cassettes for years but lost them over time. However, recently my wife decided to read and study it again in detail, 16 years later and wanted me to download it from audible.com. This book is definitely on my favorite book list and in my opinion will become a timeless classic. The 'habits' are immune from social and professional development fads!

I was diagnosed with adult ADD 1.5 years ago at 40 years old. My doctor prescribed the book, "Driven to Distraction" for me to read as my first visit and to come back after I read it. Unbelievable! What relief! It was a book about my life! I discovered "Audible.Com" and this book at about the same time it became available. Dr. Hallowell very correctly indicates that the 'knowing' provides the first most important part of the relief. I highly recommend this book if you want the latest information and research.
