This series is so good! This might be my favorite book of the series. The author’s storytelling is compelling and the narrator does a great job giving each character “life”. I look forward to the next one!

Historia
In 2016, the morning after Valentine's Day, Luke's son passed away from breathing issues complicated by congenital birth defects. He was 21 months old. And his name was Finnegan. This kind of loss is terrifyingly huge and scary, but the love and light in this story far outweigh the tragedy. Through comic-book metaphors, Shakespeare references, and lilting Irish brogues, Luke tells the story of his too-short time with Finn. This is his tribute to storytelling, parenthood, and his rosy-cheeked, blue-eyed baby boy.

Luke Daniels has been my favorite narrator for many years and I’m so glad he shared Finn’s story with us. Finn is smiling down right now, so proud of his dad. Finn will touch many lives through this book. Well done!

If you love historical fiction and mysteries, this is the book for you! The author did a great job sending the reader (listener) back in time to 1920s London. I love the character Olive and can’t wait to read more of her adventures! Also the narrator did a fantastic job!

Historia
Rob Paulsen is one of Hollywood's busiest and most passionate performers. If you don't know him by name, you will know him by the many characters he has brought to life: Pinky from Pinky and the Brain and Yakko from Animaniacs, Raphael from the original animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and many more. So, you can imagine how terrifying it must have been when Rob was diagnosed with throat cancer, putting his entire livelihood in jeopardy and threatening to rob the world of all his loveable characters that filled our youth and adulthood with humor and delight.

Historia
Miracle Springs is a place of healing. Strangers flock there hoping that the natural hot springs, five-star cuisine, and renowned spa can cure their ills. And, if none of that works, they often find their way to Miracle Books, where, over a fresh-baked scone from the Gingerbread House bakery, they exchange their stories with owner Nora Pennington in return for a carefully chosen book. That's Nora's special talent: prescribing the perfect novel to ease a person's deepest pain and lighten their heaviest burden.

Great start to a new series
Revisado: 01-26-19
Thank you Audible for the suggestion- I have found a new author to enjoy! This is book one of a new mystery series and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m a big fan of cozy mysteries. The main four characters are wonderful- each woman has a secret in her past that causes her to feel damaged. I love how they form a friendship and realize how strong they are as friends and individuals. But that’s really a side story- the main story is the murder mystery. The author is a great storyteller and I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. I also can’t wait to check out other novels by the author!

A Wonderful Book!
Revisado: 01-14-19
Wow- this book wasn’t what I thought it was gonna be (in a good way-it was so much more). I first heard about it on a website that listed good books for baseball fans to read. This version is performed by my favorite narrator Luke Daniels. Even though it would be perfect for young teens and teenagers, it’s also a great read (or listen) for adults. The main character Peter is struggling at a young age with the knowledge that his baseball career is over before it had a chance to even really begin. He’s also dealing with the fact that his grandfather is slowly losing his memory. And that is something that is hard for someone to accept at ANY age. The author has a great way with words and the epilogue pretty much caused me to start sobbing in the middle of my living room. This was the first novel that I’ve read (listened to) by this author but I plan to find some others.
