don't get me wrong, they're all amazing books, but I love the pace of this one! Hart and Free are so sweet together, and Hart's story is different from any of the other guys.
I love the way Free handled Vasquez!

as for performance, I love Aiden Snow's voice! I love how each character has a different voice and I can tell who's talking without the name needing to be said. and I absolutely adore the voice he gave Hart!
Aiden's Voice and the.voices he gives the characters do a lot to help me build a mental image of these guys!

I'll be honest, I wasn't sure about leaving our fearless band of hot, sexy, paired up detectives to follow a character we'd only known for a fairly short amount of time. especially with Ex Meridian coming between this book and His Hart's command, where we first met Bull.
But I've got to say, I got into it pretty quickly! I don't know when I'm going to learn not to be apprehensive about starting a new book, but I just get so invested in the characters!

I will say, I got pretty pissed at God at a certain point in this book and I wasn't sure that was a thing that could happen. It all turned out alright in the end, as we knew it would.

again, allow me to sing the praises of A. E. Via for their phenomenal writing and of course Aiden Snow for their sexy a$$ voice that just seeps into your soul like butter on a warm English muffin lol.

I can definitely see myself starting this series again directly after finishing it!

I was a little unsure if I'd like shifting away from our team of bad a$$ detectives, but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I loved Ex and Meridian. it was also very refreshing to get a kind of outside look at all our favorite couples.

and let me say, Aiden Snow is a fantastic narrator, I know which character is speaking at any given time because he lends his voice to each of them in a very unique way. it really brings the characters and the story to life!

it just keeps getting better!

I like series bundles because I don't like when a story ends lol. that being said, I get kind of sad at the end of each story because I know we're going to shift gears and focus on a new couple.

that's true, it happened in each book, but these books are about a team of dedicated detectives, so even though we switch gears over to Furious and Syn, we still see plenty of God and Day. both previous couples are there when Rux and Greene are figuring their $h!t out. and it's a whole happy family when Steele comes along and joins the team, stealing Tech's heart along the way.

The overall story gets better with every book and I am definitely looking forward to more!

Epic! Absolutely Brilliant!!

this story was amazing! it kept with a lot of the regular Vampire Lore, but added in some really cool new things as well. it's definitely a new look at a post apocalyptic world. it's easy to follow the characters as they take their journeys.
I love that it was a full cast reading, it really made for a capturing experience!
I had a fantastic time listening and I plan on listening again.

I really hope we'll see more like this in the future.

it was still a good read. the story was great! I liked the quests and what not, but the sex scenes were mostly very repetitive and some of them felt very adolescent to me. not to mention, this generation of shifters must be nymphomaniacs because all they do is f***.
