Wake up in a post apocalyptic Earth

In this post apocalyptic world the haves and the have not are farther apart then ever. How do you go about to right the world and defend it from aliens? What values change and what truths remain? It may sound dim but it is also full of a lot of humor. I enjoy heros that overcome great odds but take the time to smell the roses.

Sarcasm, humor and a space cowboy

What more could you want? Love the humor and science. Having grown up on Star Trek, this lighter approach takes some adjustment. But I agree with the author that a multinational endeavor would result in a lot of posturing and arguments. This is much more realistic than the Federation. The science is extraordinary. Love it.

I am hoping that this is not the end of this series. The family dynamic that a lone stray creates from book 1 to 5 is amazing. The mixture of sci-fi and royalty is intriguing. The concept of the burrs is limitless. I love the development and wonder.

Lydia, yes that Lydia

I was skeptical about this book, she is one of those characters you like to despise. That actually is her point, it is a refreshing twist on my favorite story. I would like to see it as a longer story. Maybe where Lydia becomes a force for change. This short story is very well done and does make you stop and think.

All time favorite

This is my goto book when I am stressed and need that pick me up and laugh. The Netherfield ball reimagined, the what if here are wide ranging. What would you like to say to Lydia, Jane, Carolyn or Mr Bennett? It all gets said in this ground hog Ball. I would love to see the ones that did not make it into the book. lol. What would you do, if you were free from consequences? Conversations and a first kiss are just some of the main stream results. What length will Elizabeth go to, to get past Wednesday. the day after the ball? I have listened to this audible more times than I can count and it never gets old. Enjoy and get obsessed with this PP variation.

Humorous Urban Tale of Monsters

I could not put this book down. The characters are eccentric but touchable. The magic is wild and the narrative is sassy. A wonderful light hearted read for anyone that wishes to return to the days when they were not quite an adult.
