I read the wolves of the beyond first as a kid, and now that I'm finally able to get more story out of the Fengo and other histories of the wolves of the beyond, I am so excited! I can't wait to see what happens next.
this new main character is a great change of pace and a very interesting character

great book, not so great reader

the book is written with humor and sarcasm that the narator simply doesn't possess. the voices are confusing or too screechy and painful to listen to. but the story is good enough to let you ignore it if you try hard enough

i loved the story, I couldn't stop listening! but the voices were too similar to distinguish from ne another when it came to the cubs and Svena the mom. other than that the reader's voice is very pleasant to listen to and none of the music got too distracting. and no distracting sound effects either which im grateful for. this was awesome. I always loved Kathryn Lasky in middle school and am so glad to see she hasnt stopped writing and seems to not be stopping anytime soon. I look forward to reading and listening to more of her books in the future!!!
