I initially got this book for help with work situations, how to read colleagues etc but I found it just as useful in my social life.
Some of it was genuinely fascinating and I am already looking at people around me in a totally different way.

I dont want to be too personal so I am not going to explain my "issues" but at its core it was to do with shyness and general low self esteem. I wouldn't say this book was a miracle cure but it DID really set me on the right path and I am definitely a heck of a lot better than I used to be

...and wow I am glad I did. I needed help with some anxiety issues, shyness etc as well as just wanting to feel more control of my life. Still implanting the advice into my life but 2 months since I got them I can sincerely say I have seen a vast improvement in my moods, assertiveness, social skills etc

Had the Confidence book on kindle and the Anxiety book in print but decided to buy both books as an audible package as was shocked by how cheap it was. SO happy I did. I loved the books before but have to admit they work 10 times better in audio format. Recommended for anyone with self-esteem, anxiety, worry, shyness etc issues.

I dont want to soon d too dramatic...but...these two books have completely changed my life for the better. I already had both in print but much much prefer the audio versions as its easy to listen to them discreetly when out in public, especially as I prepare for a social event etc.
Got more from these books than I ever did from any doctor!!!!

Took me a year to find it and many other purchases, but with this book I have FINALLY found the book I have been searching for for a long time.
To truly be assertive, confident, fair, calm and mature when communicating does not come easy. It is a skill and like all skills, it must be learnt. Fortunately this book breaks it all down, into very very easy to manage and understand chunks. It is very well written and narrated full of original ideas and thoughts,
I am more confident and in control both in my personal life and my work life and I am already seeing very positive results.
FULLY recommend this book!

Actually realistic

I wasn't really sure what to expect from this book but I must say I was very very pleasantly surprised. To make it clear, this book deals with what Hygge is but most importantly it shows you how to use the concepts in daily life in a very realistic way. This is for people who dont live in Denmark in a quiet chalet - this is for people who live normal lives in cities around the world. It is about bringing those concepts to your own lives in a very real world.
I loved all the book but musty say the second half was by far the best. I have been implementing these tips into my life for the past 4 weeks and I am seeing a dramatic increase in calmness, happiness and weirdly productivity too.
