Sweet cozy Christian fiction!
Revisado: 11-22-24
I really enjoyed this sweet cozy Christmas romance. I absolutely loved the fair themes, the quirky rooster, the adorable highland cows, and the setting of a Kentucky castle. I could picture it all. The story was beautiful and the vibes were lovely and cozy to the hilt. The narrator did a great job too!

Historia
This paradigm-shattering book provides an even-handed, science-based understanding of who women are, both on and off the pill. It will change the way that women think about their hormones and how they view themselves. It also serves as a rallying cry for women to demand more information from science about how their bodies and brains work and to advocate for better research. This book will help women make more informed decisions about their health, whether they're on the pill or off of it.

The information is great and greatly needed but…..leave out the evolution and feminism
Revisado: 04-08-24
This book had some excellent insights into birth control and how it affects a woman’s body and what it can change in who we are and what we become. The science and studies cited is really good. She should have left out her evolution junk and her over apologizing for her information to protect the birth control pill as a “good option” when her research all points to it being a bad option. I do think the book even with the cons is worth the listen.

Riveting!!
Revisado: 01-17-24
I really enjoyed this amazingly done Christian romance/suspense fiction. The pace was fast and it held my attention and the farther I listened the more I couldn’t put it down. I really loved the interwoven faith themes with scripture and songs and familiar theologians woven into the characters stories. Having characters with actual faith more than a mere mention of God was really cool. And the story was so good. I also loved the lesson in the story about seeking help if you are being stalked. Unfortunately this is a real concern for many young women and I think more people should be talking about it. Hats off Latisha!! This was beautifully done 😍 can’t wait to listen to book 2 in the series!

What a heart wrenching and captivating story!
Revisado: 12-24-23
This is probably one of my most impactful fiction reads of the year. This story captures the reader’s attention and weaves a heartbreaking tale that ends in redemptive beauty as good stories do. The highlighting of the eugenics program in 20th century United States as it compares to what followed in nazi occupation of Vienna was eye opening and impactful. It sheds a whole new light on the roots of “birth control” and PP in modern America. I loved this story’s impact and call to think deeper. Well done 🙌
