Historia
Ever wonder what you would say or do if you didn’t give a f--k? Adam Carolla can tell you. In his sixth book, the comedian, podcaster, and provocateur does what he does best—doles out advice and opinions with utter disregard for our politically correct, self-righteous, virtue signaling, woke times.

Great Fun
Revisado: 08-06-22
Listened to this as I have all of his books while driving a truck cross country, love Adam's sense of humor and rants, even if he is pretty disparaging of truck drivers at times, still funny though.
We are about the same age and I enjoy being reminded of the messed up 70s and 80s.
Two things that drive me nuts, he says there are no cat songs, here are two offerings.
1. The Year of the Cat Al Stewart
2. Della and the Dealer Hoyt Axton
(not specifically about the cat but it does have a strong presence and anchors the chorus.
The other thing is 70s sit com tropes "lumpy mashed potatoes", come on man, that was ubiquitous.
Rock on Ace man, you do you, so I can do me.
Thanks for the hours of entertainment.

Do the math,, stop doing the math
Revisado: 08-04-18
I've heard all his monologues, never miss an episode of the Five or his own show, so I didn't really feel I needed to read the book, but it occured to me that if it shot to a number 1 best seller, it might annoy some people that I enjoy seeing annoyed. So I'm down for a few bucks. Turns out, I really enjoyed it,,, maybe it time for him to retire "do the math" though.

okay, so he was a horrible father, had an unhealthy appetite for underage women and believed in a political philosophy with a death count that makes hilter look like a sunday school teacher. so what, he made great movies so, all is forgiven.. Hollywood has always been a shining beacon of morality i suppose.
Otherwise, great book, well documented very interesting. and the narrator was decent. well worth reading.

Historia
James Hetfield, with whom many years ago Mustaine founded a band known as Metallica, once observed, with some incredulity, that Mustaine must have been born with a horseshoe up his ass. That's how lucky he's been, how fortunate he is to be pulling breath after so many close calls. And Hetfield is right. Mustaine has been lucky. He has been blessed. But here's the thing about having a horseshoe lodged in your rectum: It also hurts like hell. And you never forget it's there.

ive loved Megadeth from their first album, Ive always admired anyone who is willing to keep getting up no matter how many times they get knocked down or screw up. i lost interest in Metallica after Puppets, But Megadeth still kicks ass.

Historia
I'm the Man is the fast-paced, humorous, and revealing memoir from the man who co-founded Anthrax, the band that proved to the masses that brutality and fun didn't have to be mutually exclusive. Through various lineup shifts, label snafus, rock 'n' roll mayhem, and unforeseen circumstances galore, Scott Ian has approached life and music with a smile, viewing the band with deadly seriousness while recognizing the ridiculousness of the entertainment industry.

ehhhhh,,,
Revisado: 07-13-17
I was excited to see this book having been an Anthrax fan since the beginning, I loved Fist of Metal when it came out, i believe I saw them for the first time at the Bronco bowl in Dallas around 85 or 86, and several more times since, I remember the original Pantera look he speaks of, having seen them hundreds of times. Having said that, I was disappointed to find out how much damage he did to the band over the years, and takes little or no responsibility for all the bad decision he made while he was supposedly at the helm,,, nono it wasnt me, it was Electra, what ever. He spouts new found wisdom as if the rest of the world didnt get that all worked out in their early 20s. Thanks for the sermon genius.

I picked this out on the recommendation of the Adam Corolla pod cast. What i took away from it is that, police are liars, judges are stupid and prosecutors are criminals. oh and defense attorneys are bastions of integrity to a fault... Basically a sleazy lawyer writes a book to explain why hes not sleazy, and fails.
