Might be more enjoyable with a different narrator.

Wonderful story of lost, found, lost again, found again love
Revisado: 01-16-19
The story was captivating. Fictional story set against historical facts. The narration was good, however I did not like the way the narrative bits of the story were read like a check list with the same pattern throughout the book. Kinda sounded like it was the direction given to the narrator. The dialogue was more animated. Overall, it did not deter me from listening to the entire book.

Historia
A coming-of-age tale for the young and naïve 17-year-old Catherine Morland, Northanger Abbey takes a decidedly comical look at themes of class, family, love and literature. Revelling in the sensationalist - and extremely popular - Gothic fiction of her day, the story follows Catherine out of Bath to the lofty manor of the Tilneys, where her overactive imagination gets to work constructing an absurd and melodramatic explanation for the death of Mrs Tilney, which threatens to jeopardise her newly forged friendships.

Enjoyable lighthearted Read

Easy and fun story that's both witty and breezy. A nice respite from some of the long intense books To which I've been listening.

Historia
When Lane Coolman's car is bashed from behind on the road to the Florida Keys, what appears to be an ordinary accident is anything but (this is Hiaasen!). Behind the wheel of the other car is Merry Mansfield - the eponymous Razor Girl - and the crash scam is only the beginning of events that spiral crazily out of control while unleashing some of the wildest characters Hiaasen has ever set loose.

Repeat characters hilarious antics what more could you ask for?
Revisado: 10-29-16
The characters in this book are well developed, funny and spot-on. The performance is amazing. There are so many characters with differ weeny backgrounds and different walks of life and the narrator kills it with every little nuance he can muster. Great performance. The story is hilarious. I love Yancy and how he continues to keep the lot next door from being developed using quick-wit and letting nature take its course. Hiasson nails it in this book. If you want to laugh, his is the book for you.
