Historia
Freddy Stern, a twenty-one-year-old cashier, has lived a plain, albeit harsh life. Having been orphaned—twice—he's spent the last ten years working and staying out of trouble. His only aspiration is to save enough money to become an archhuman. His dream gets the jump on him when he barely survives a near-death encounter and finds himself in possession of 1% Lifesteal, a bizarre talent with numerous contradictions and just as many uses.

Zero likable characters, especially MC
Revisado: 04-01-25
So much seemed to happen while accomplishing nothing. it feels like stuff just kinda happened because of plot convenience, nothing felt natural.
Also, the outdated meme jokes and other weird attempts at humor are just cringey.

Historia
Cast into a brutal military camp by his once loving master, Mateo feels like the last six wonderful years of his life have been a lie. With the mysteries surrounding him growing, Mateo knows that his only option is to become one of the supernaturally powerful Duelists and grow in power until he can take his fate into his own hands. That plan is thwarted from the beginning when he gets stuck with the lowest-ranked Root Card against his will, ensuring that his growth as a Duelist will always be excruciatingly slow.

enjoyable but slow and predictable
Revisado: 05-21-24
its a fun story but is very slow. It's also got a lot of "Men dumb and bad, Women smart and great" but if you can ignore that, it's pretty good.

Historia
When summoned to a fantastical world and granted powers by a broken System, most freshly minted protagonists would strap on their big-boy boots and get ready for their stats to start climbing. But Fischer isn't like most MCs. In fact, he doesn't want to be a hero at all. Fame? Fortune? Power? He had enough of all that in his old life. Discovering forbidden fishing techniques and petting every cute animal that comes within scritching distance? Now that's a good time.

Historia
Despite his victory against the Guild, Kers soon learns that there is now an even greater target upon his cloudy back. Typical. Then there’s the small matter of Marwan, the Dark Lord who wants to take over the world, and the Jade Citadel sortie that is on the verge of collapsing. Not to mention the fact that he now has to ‘get along’ with his neighboring core and deal with a mysterious orca-like monster that has started flying nearby…

The fairy got worse... but the story is still enjoyable
Revisado: 05-05-24
Medusa and Selena were pretty obnoxious both were just disrespectful and took no consequences for the behavior. Selena needs a rewrite, she really throws me out of my enjoyment every time she berates or whines at Kers.

Historia
Life’s tough when you’re trapped in an eight-year-old body on another world. His name is Eight. Not really, but that’s what the System decided after a slip of the tongue. One moment, he was stepping out the office door on the way home, and the next waking up on a hillside below a town wall. Oh, and the gate guard drove him off, because he thought Eight was a monster. What’s a boy to do in a world full of magic and so many, many hungry creatures searching for their next meal? Well, there’s an old man inside that body, and he'll use everything he’s learned to survive.

Revisado: 04-11-24
Phenomenal story and voice acting, only issue was that MC was a bit to focused on the past. But it makes sense for a 56 year old to be a bit more hung up on stuff than a younger protagonist.

Imagine some suburban single mom got turned into a dungeon. That's the story...
Revisado: 03-06-24
It feels like a mom wanted to be a cool mom so she wrote a self insert book in a genre her kid likes.
good points:
-I enjoy the plant/garden theme
-It has interesting connection between worlds and is fairly unique.
bad points:
-MC and her kid are way to lax with the person that kills her and essentially destroys the family...
-Takes a long time to get to anything interesting and even then the dungeon is minimal at best when any action starts.
-$45 is absurd, even the sale price of $30ish is way too much
I'd say if you have an extra credit and don't know what to do with it, this isn't a bad pick.

Silas is inducted into the System, becoming the last in a long line of Earth's "forerunners." The rewards are great, but the danger is greater. We are not alone in the universe. The fate of five worlds hangs on how their forerunners perform. Will Silas have what it takes to win Earth a place in the multiverse? Or will Earth become another mining world stripped of all resources and left a barren husk floating in the cosmos?

Pretty good until the last hour and a half
Revisado: 02-28-24
I enjoyed the story and concepts but the college scenes were cringey and awkward. The last hour and a half they throw in a good amount of unnecessary virtue signaling and it just ruins it.
If you just write good male and female characters you don't need the virtue signaling, but all the characters are just kind of forgettable and rude.

I really just don't like the wolf woman
Revisado: 10-31-23
overall I thought the book was good, I enjoy the world itself but the wolf woman was awful, and the final fight felt gross and pathetic.
it seemed like the main characters progression was sidelined while the rest of the story moved on.
