Historia
Several months after his neighborhood was cloaked in darkness and invaded by the demon-like denizens of a hellish world, life has returned to normal for Miah Gray, a.k.a. Laser Chicken. No longer burdened by PTSD, he is free to enjoy his family and to help pick up the pieces of a pillaged world. At night, he trains with his eight-year-old companion, Bree, a.k.a. Demon Dog, and their neighbors Henry and Sarah, the god-like descendants of Helen of Sparta and the mythological Zeus. All is calm...until new neighbors move in across the street and shatter the peace.

If you get the chance please check out this universe, please do ITS A RIDE !!. I thought I would get lost with all the characters crossing over but I was happy I didn’t. Pretty easy to follow. Anyway enjoy if this review helped

The problem with lying about having a super weapon is that the bad guys might believe they have nothing to lose by doing something stupid that both sides will regret. Or, they might just call your bluff. Either way, the Merry Band of Pirates need a plan to deal with the Fallout.

People are to critical
Revisado: 12-10-21
I really love these books. I don’t understand how people can’t sit back and just enjoy the ride they take us on. Yes these guys find themselves in one jam after another and have to work their way out. The way I look at this series is kind of like a sitcom each book has its own set of dilemmas but there is a deeper story behind it too like the old ones and skippy’s memories. The Author is building a world here and I for one love it. So with that out of the way the only thing left is to say thank you sir may I have another.

Excellent
Revisado: 07-14-21
I’m safe enough in my masculinity to say this. I have a man crush on joe ledger. He’s what you would get if John wick and jack reacher had a love child. I’ve been a fan since the first book and have listened to all of them even the ones set in alternate realities and side missions. I guess there’s some home town pride there because I’m from Baltimore. But you’d have to be a bad ass to live here anyway. If you love action and syfy you’ll love these books I highly recommend them. And ray porter needs no praise he’s always great

Historia
We were fighting on the wrong side of a war we couldn't win. And that was the good news. The Ruhar hit us on Columbus Day. There we were, innocently drifting along the cosmos on our little blue marble, like the native Americans in 1492. Over the horizon come ships of a technologically advanced, aggressive culture, and BAM! There go the good old days, when humans only got killed by each other. So, Columbus Day. It fits. When the morning sky twinkled again, this time with Kristang starships jumping in to hammer the Ruhar, we thought we were saved.

Better than expected
Revisado: 09-30-18
this is my first review Overall a pretty fun ride I had a little trouble keeping up with all the different alien species and the patrons and what not but after skippy (a*#hole A.I. trust me ) entered the book it really took off and got interesting. If you can trudge it out for 3/4 of the book it’s well worth it after that and RC Bray does a great job with the different characters. Well worth the credit or cash. I’m rest assured on my way to the other books in the series
