Well read reading of very good story. I've enjoyed both Sherlock Holmes stories and Derek Jacobi's readings before, and I'll look for even more after this.

Interesting journey worth multiple listenings for me. Fascinating insights into multiple cultures. The best part is getting to know unique people all over the world.

Excellent Reading of a Very Good Story

The story is classic. On the surface: an exciting series of adventures. Underneath: key issues of humanity discussed.

I especially appreciated how the language brought you into the world of the characters, and that made Huck Finn's moral dilemma more meaningful. Popular society taught a certain way was right, yet wanting to do the actual right thing to help someone meant going a different way and acting "wrong" -- according to the popular morals of his time and environment. Still relevant today, when popular right/wrong doesn't always mean actual, broadly helpful (or broadly harmful) right/wrong.

Elijah Wood did an excellent job reading this.
