Historia
Twenty-year-old Violet Sorrengail was supposed to enter the Scribe Quadrant, living a quiet life among books and history. Now, the commanding general—also known as her tough-as-talons mother—has ordered Violet to join the hundreds of candidates striving to become the elite of Navarre: dragon riders. But when you’re smaller than everyone else and your body is brittle, death is only a heartbeat away...because dragons don’t bond to “fragile” humans. They incinerate them.

Stop harping on the narrator
Revisado: 06-29-23
Loved the story! I absolutely positively cannot wait for the next book. Yes in the beginning the narration did sound a little nasally but once you get over it, it is so great and then Teddy Hamilton at the end yes please.

I really tried
Revisado: 08-14-20
I thought the idea was great. I really liked the cast, but the story was just not for me. I am not going to say I was not into when I listened. I liked dream. I thought the idea of what he was doing in the first hour or so I listened was neat but the gotham part was not for me. If you like all that is gotham than this book is for you. I like the movies but not this story.

What did you like best about The Splendid and Extraordinary Life of Beautimus Potamus? What did you like least?
I liked the plot the story took sometime to figure out but once in it was a good listen. I did not love the voices. Some sounded very childish. Too high pitched.

Dark and twisty but oh so sweet!
Revisado: 07-26-16
If you could sum up Breach in three words, what would they be?
Dark, twisty and sweet.
Would you be willing to try another book from K. I. Lynn? Why or why not?
Yes, I would love to finish the story as this left me guessing for sure. If it comes out on audible I will be very excited to review it for her!
Which character – as performed by Rachel Orlin – was your favorite?
I guess I would have to say, Nathan. Plus he was my favorite character so there is that. I loved they way he talked to Lila in all aspects of the book, not just the sex scenes.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When Lila crashed and burned made me relive some not so fun moments in my life. It was very moving and very well written.

Historia
Dark curls and an unforgettably sweet laugh were all he knew of his sister's rescuer. Later, a second glimpse showed her to be lovely, and he heard her melodious laugh again. Darcy wondered what it would be like to meet this remarkable, and remarkably lovely, young woman. Would the spirit that caused her to go to the aid of a stranger be able to bring some joy to his lonely life? Would they ever meet, or would he always be left wondering?

Very interesting For a Pride and Prejudice fan
Revisado: 07-22-16
What did you like best about Her Unforgettable Laugh: A Pride and Prejudice Variation? What did you like least?
I love Pride and Prejudice so, I did really enjoy this book. I have listened to many variations of the story and it was a much more detailed version. I always saw Elizabeth as a bit of a rebellious woman, but this book doesn't really give that impression as I do so enjoy.
What did you like best about this story?
I know that Caroline is supposed to be a sh*t but this much felt a bit heavy. Books need to have an antagonist but I am not sure this extreme would have been to Ms. Austen's approval.
Which character – as performed by Nancy Peterson – was your favorite?
I would have to say Georgiana was my favorite. I think she really got the sweet and shy young lady. I also loved Darcy's pet name for her.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
I sure wood. I am very excited to see where it goes in book 2.

Historia
"Rainelle, you were eye-f--king me in the casino." Rae couldn't exactly deny what Andrei, the king of the incubi, said so matter-of-factly. But she is her father's daughter and having a forbidden liaison with a sinfully irresistible demon king is not something her demon hunter father would have approved of. With just one glance from Andrei's piercing cerulean eyes, however, she found herself being plunged into delightful unknown territories, and only half-caring whether she should sink or swim.

Wow, not what I expected BUT oh so much better
Revisado: 07-20-16
If you could sum up How to Kill an Incubus in three words, what would they be?
Steamy, funny, and amazing
Who was your favorite character and why?
My Favorite character was Andre. I love a tough guy who doesn't know how to deal with his feelings. There is something so endearing about a man who chooses to be kind and soft to those he loves rather than keeping everything hidden inside.
What does Melissa Barr bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I loved just about everything in this book! The story was amazing the writing impeccable and the narration was almost perfect. I really liked the steamy scenes like any self-respecting romance novel reader, but that was certainly not all. the only bad part was that I could hear a bit of an accent when she said her "R's"
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
There is something so satisfying as being killed by an orgasm.

Funny, for Angels vs Demons
Revisado: 07-20-16
What made the experience of listening to Balance the most enjoyable?
Essentially the flow of the story was about the main characters learning about his powers and keeping the balance of good and evil.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Landon was by far my favorite character. He was very witty and made the story flow very quickly. His constant battle with himself over dark and light was easy to relate to.
Which scene was your favorite?
The best part was when he was starting to form his team and when his human hacker friend became a "touched one".
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Good and Evil is not as clear as night and day.

Super Good! Just as good as the first one!
Revisado: 07-20-16
Would you consider the audio edition of The Dark Masters to be better than the print version?
I didn't read the print version but I thoroughly enjoyed the audio books!
What other book might you compare The Dark Masters to and why?
I don't really have a comparison other than the Elemental mysteries because of the similarities in the plots.
Have you listened to any of Helene McCardle’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes, I listened to the first book in this series and I wouldn't have listened to this one had I had an issue with it.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I laughed much more in this book than I did in the first in the series.
