this is christian fiction and it was bad
Revisado: 12-17-22
I feel duped into reading religious fiction. This book is the epitome of "it's all in god's plan" and if that's your jam, cool I guess, but holy hell it was annoying.

Historia
Marco and Greg would both rather be anywhere than a kink club on Valentine’s Day. Marco doesn’t have the patience to speech-read in a hearing crowd. And Greg is still mourning his Sir who passed away three years ago. But when Greg steps in to explain something in sign language, Marco can’t stop thinking about the light he sees in those sad eyes. Strong, older, fluent in ASL, and sweetly submissive, Greg is exactly Marco’s type. Even if Greg isn’t ready for another relationship yet, Marco isn’t ready to let him go.

A favorite now in audio!
Revisado: 12-09-22
Yes we finally have a Reese Morrison book in audio and it was amazing. I always get so worried when my favorite books are translated to audio because what if I don't like the narrator but thankfully well I didn't love the narrator I also didn't dislike him and in just happy to see my favorite stories and audio. I will say I do think I enjoyed it more as reading it versus listening. I can't quite pinpoint what it is. It might just be a simple fact that if I'm reading it I can take a minute to really visualize the ASL whereas in the audio it's so fast that you don't really have time to sit there and imagine what that sign looks like. Either way, it's super good and you should read it.

Fantastic

I absolutely adored this book and the narration was sheer perfection. I loved all of the main characters dearly and was in awe of the details that went into even the smallest of characters.

Historia
Wife. Mother. Breadwinner. Penelope Ruiz-Kar is doing it all - and barely keeping it together. Meanwhile, her best friend, Jenny Sweet, appears to be sailing through life. As close as the two women are, Jenny’s passionate marriage, pristine house, and ultra-polite child stand in stark contrast to Penelope’s underemployed husband, Sanjay, their unruly brood, and the daily grind she calls a career.

Very good read/listen
Revisado: 07-22-19
I really enjoyed this one. I found myself needed to get done quicker so I switched between Audio and Kindle. at first I didn't love the narrator, but after a few chapters, I hear the voices as I was reading, too. This is a great book that tackles a ton of important issues.
