Historia
In The Genealogical Adam and Eve, S. Joshua Swamidass tests a scientific hypothesis: What if the traditional account is somehow true, with the origins of Adam and Eve taking place alongside evolution? Building on well-established but overlooked science, Swamidass explains how it's possible for Adam and Eve to be rightly identified as the ancestors of everyone.

Speaking openly about biblical and scientific truth…
Revisado: 12-30-24
Love the insight and provoking to deeper reconciliation of science and biblical truth. Fearless pointing out facts that get conveniently ignored, and bringing good “secular” science to the forefront.

Historia
Is Atheism Dead? is an entertaining, impressively wide-ranging, and decidedly provocative answer to that famous 1966 Time cover that itself provocatively asked “Is God Dead?” In a voice that is by turns witty, muscular, and poetic, Metaxas intentionally echoes C. S. Lewis and G. K. Chesterton in cheerfully and logically making his astonishing case, along the way presenting breathtaking - and often withering - new evidence and arguments against the idea of a Creatorless universe.

A profound summary of the irrationality of atheism…
Revisado: 04-01-23
It can be difficult to keep up with all the scientific developments with ramifications for a theistic worldview, even a biblical one. Metaxas does a fantastic job presenting a broad summary with enough detail to interest further study. He is a very good writer, with a wry sense of humor…
