Insight to financial freedom
Revisado: 06-19-24
I've gained more insight on how to approach debt, investment, and finance from this book then I ever have in school or from those of my peers.
Now I'm addicted to learning more to try and elevate in the financial sector, not only for myself but for my daughter. I want her to embrace and utilize money to enhance her, to work for her, and to build a foundation of freedom to do the things that she wants. I want her to live life!
So many of us black individuals have fallen to the demise of debt and like myself feel like there may not be a way out. While I still believe there is no hope for me to climb out, it doesn't mean I will stop trying.
I plan to share this book to help those seeking financial relief, to give a monetary leg up for the generations to come and to learn from the formers mistakes and ignorances.
This book was very easy to digest and a candid read especially for thosse of us who don't know other ways outside of the standard norm when it comes to financial freedom.

Historia
Persephone is the Goddess of Spring by title only. The truth is, since she was a little girl, flowers have shriveled at her touch. After moving to New Athens, she hopes to lead an unassuming life disguised as a mortal journalist. Hades, God of the Dead, has built a gambling empire in the mortal world and his favorite bets are rumored to be impossible. After a chance encounter with Hades, Persephone finds herself in a contract with the God of the Dead and the terms are impossible: Persephone must create life in the Underworld or lose her freedom forever.

helpful but not
Revisado: 03-07-22
It help me understand why things played out the way that they did through my life but there were not enough helpful strategies to help me deal with a brain like mines,, in a world structured more around neurotypicals. owning who I am and my uniqueness is something I have already been practicing so this book is great for those who are not their yet and need a boost of confidence amd understanding. if there is a part 2 for those of us past this point that be great😅

Historia
The rite has existed for as long as anyone can remember: When the king dies, his son the prince must slay a fierce dragon and rescue a damsel to be his bride. When Ama wakes in the arms of Prince Emory, she knows none of this. She has no memory of what came before she was captured by the dragon or what horrors she faced in its lair. She knows only the story the prince tells of her rescue and her destiny of sitting on a throne beside him. It’s like something from a fairy tale. As Ama follows Emory to the kingdom of Harding, however, she discovers that not all is as it seems.

This was a resonating book!
Revisado: 02-20-21
It reminds me of how life and certain people, if we allow them can enter and change who we are without permission. Stand in your own authenticity and show boundaries.
