I really enjoyed Henry's life in his own voice, and it was an added bonus to hear his wife!. I am so sorry that your parents weren't better at being mom and dad. Yes, people can become parents, but it takes someone who understands the art of being mom or dad to help a child get the best start in life. My friend got to see you on one of your book tours. I didn't go, distracted by something unimportant. To make it up to myself, I got the audio book.
Thanks for an inside look at showbusiness.
But mostly, thanks for being Henry.

Second Chance- something we all need

I really enjoy books when the author's actual voice is used in narration. I got hooked on Fred and his adventures in the first book. If you are a dog lover, then you will enjoy this book, but I appreciate the author explaining his war experience and giving us insight to the lives of the men at Maine State Prison in the dog training program.
If society focused more on reform and education, then we wouldn't spend so much time and money on warehousing people in prison.

This is my kind of book with lots of action and edge of your seat suspense. It is a relevant commentary on the state of terrorism in our world today. The world is full of really bad men out there. When is the world going to do more? Syria's Assad is one example of many. The world needs to get rid of " leaders" who kill or starve their own people. It's way past time for the UN to step up and help bring injustice to accountability. If Assad would be in jail as a private citizen, why is he allowed to murder his own people as their " leader"?! This book will help provoke thought about what we will or will not tolerate. Maybe justice is the best defense against terrorism.

The sound of the author's voice was soothing. She said things that made me laugh or hoot because it was a shared experience. I enjoyed comparing notes with my own grandma experience, and I breezed through the book quickly. I think it's a good read and very timely as we all emerge from Covid-19 restrictions.
