This third region, the Verdant Forest, is a land of tall trees, wild beasts, and dungeons that are unique in the fact that they are tied to the very nature of the environment.

The Tenth Realm has been lost, and Akran’s hordes of devourers and ravagers have been loosed upon the lower realms, dealing the reclusive and powerful Imperium a serious blow. It will take Alva, the Imperium, the sects, clans, nations, and city-states to band together as they did in times of old. After Tempara successfully saved three of her Greater Temporal Fox family members from the clutches of a dangerous temporal ritual located in the Frozen Reaches, the Fox-turned-Dungeon Core travels south to an entirely different Wildlands region in hopes of freeing even more of her family. While it was treacherous in the cold, northern region where she called home, the new region is unlike anything she has ever encountered before.

Throughout the Kingdom, Defenders constantly fight against incursions of dungeon monsters rampaging over the border the Kingdom shares with the Wildlands. To keep the danger to their citizens low, they periodically sweep through these untamed areas filled with natural beasts and roaming dungeon monsters, destroying as many Dungeon Cores as they can find. Tempara was practically a newborn when Defenders from the Kingdom snatched her away, only to be forced to watch in horror as tragedy fell upon the rest of her pack.

Sacred Valley has been saved...at least, what’s left of it. With his home finally secure, Lindon delves deep into the ancient labyrinth, seeking long-lost Soulsmithing knowledge and the secret to destroying the Dreadgods. Monarchs plot against him and against each other, unaware of the threats gathering in realms beyond. Far above Lindon and the Monarchs and the Dreadgods, another war is waged. Suriel and the Abidan clash against the Mad King and his forces in a battle for the fate of many worlds. And if it is lost, Cradle will be destroyed.

As the fighting competition grips Vuzgal, the city-state declares its independence and strength. Alva prepares to retake the lost floor of Water. The Adventurer Guild hones their blades, training and cultivating. They prepare for war, for the Willful Institute to reap what they have sown. Erik and Rugrat’s travels take them to the sixth realm, a realm with cities under the sun and dungeons beneath. Not all of Earth’s modern knowledge is used to help or heal. The Beast Mountain range is united under the empire.
