Good relationship between the handler and the K9

I didn’t love the story. It was good and I enjoyed the read, but didn’t hit my favorites list.
Dirty cop stories, cops with addiction, and cops with criminal connections are a struggle for me. It has to really really be good, otherwise it kind of loses me.

I really liked the connection between Maddie and the dog. I liked her inner monologue about her dog training philosophy and thought process during her observations of the dog. I also really liked her connection to the neighbors.

A few big scenes that were done pretty well. Kept me interested to the end.

Friends to lovers is the hottest!

Dex and Lennox’s story was superb!! Friends to lovers, billionaire romance, with some family drama. The connection between Dex and Lennox was hot! I love their relationship and how it blossomed throughout the story.

I really liked Lennox’s character in Camera Shy (the previous book) and was excited to follow her story with Dex. I was not disappointed!

The chemistry of their friendship is what made their intimate relationship so much hotter! The ins and outs of their business agreement and family /heir drama was well written and kept me interested.

I really enjoyed Snapshot!

Hot! Hot! Hot! He-teaches-Her / Good Girl story.

I loved this story and the connection of the two main characters. Their chemistry was tangible!
The MF, Avery, is dumped from her 4-year relationship for being “boring” in the bedroom. While finding her way out of the heartache, she meets the MM, Finn, who is a boudoir photographer. They come to an arrangement in which Finn will teach Avery what men want in the bedroom and Avery will help Finn grow his business.
Their friendship and respect for each other throughout the story is what I love most about this book. It is smutty and hot, but with such a level of respect that it makes me just love them together!
The additional characters add some flair and challenges into their arrangement as it grows into something more, whether they intend it to or not.
This story deals with different types of relationships and how important it is to love yourself! Very well written! I enjoyed every minute.
The voice actors nailed it!! Amazing performance!
Again, hot, hot, hot!

Angsty friends to lovers romance-- Loved it!

If you're not sure what is meant when a romance is described as "angsty"....this is it! Written in the form of a love letter from the female character's POV, this romantic story takes you on a journey where these two are best friends, both itching to be more, but timing and barriers seem to always be a factor. Their relationship, even as friends, is so endearing you fall in love with them both and are anxiously waiting and hoping for it to finally just work out! This book is an emotional roller coaster I simultaneously wanted to get off and never wanted it to stop. I could feel the connection between these two characters whether they were surf buddies, sitting on surf boards out in the ocean, stepping up to be there for each other through tough times, or the fire behind their frustration when their passion has no where else to go. This story is devastating, heartbreaking, and healing all at the same time.
Let's talk about the ending (no spoilers). I have read that other reviewers did not like the ending, but I loved it!! The epilogue was key. All the way to the last line.

Tip: The Fifth Anniversary Edition contained a follow up novella that is a response to the love letter from "Whiskey" (Jaime, the male character). I highly recommend you read both to fully embrace their entire story! It was perfect to finish the love letter from B and immediately read through Jaime's point of view of their story and specific situations. The novella was icing on the cake, don't miss it!

Edge of your seat thriller

Lots of twists and turns during this edge of your seat thriller! Just when I thought I had it figured out something else changed. Excellent main female character. An excellent read!

Twists and turns on top of twists and turns!

This story of a young woman who’s doppelgänger leads her through a mystery to solve. In the process she uncovers secrets, some of them her own that are hidden from herself through trauma. Just when a new twist is revealed other sneaks in. Written in the first person, the character’s inner monologue provides clear details, feelings, and thoughts that wouldn’t have been portrayed otherwise. The further I got into the story the more addicted I was and couldn’t stop! I enjoyed the freshness of this story as it was different than any other I have read. Clever, creative, endearing, and edgy.
This was my first read by this author and I look forward to more.

Great book! Intense, military veteran story with tough heroes and real challenges!

This was a great introduction to Jed and the Shepherds. You get to learn about the Shepherds along with Jed. This left me looking for the sequel immediately. Real life intense situations faced my real life heroes. Great book!

This was an excellent continuation of this story and more in-depth introduction to the Shepherds. Tough, veteran characters who recognize their need for God to fight worldly and spiritual battles that are intertwined. Well developed characters and supernatural abilities to support the mission they have accepted. I was excited to continue reading this series.

Intense, suspenseful, Christ-centered military veterans.

This book was just as intense and entertaining as the first two. I truly appreciated the real world challenges faced by these veterans in tackling spiritual battles as well as worldly battles. Well done!
