This is a spellbinding, thought provoking, captivating story of multigenerational love, loss, the tragedy of war, childhood adventure, falling in love, and more. Once I began listening, I couldn’t stop. I highly recommend this audiobook for hours of entertainment and life lessons I won’t soon forget. The characters are believable and lovable. The also rate the performance five stars though it indicates four stars. The author was gifted with boundless talent for storytelling. ♥️

Fabulous Thriller! Fabulous Narrative!

Jacqueline ‘Jack’ Daniels is one tough cop! A LT. with Chicago P.D., puts her into the position to work and solve homicides. In this spine tingling, serial killing mystery, Jack is at her best. This story is entertaining from start to finish and includes lots of humor, suspense, intrigue, and keeps you listening without the ability to pause for any reason. It is most definitely a five star audiobook and I highly recommend it.

As close as you will EVER come to getting inside the mind of a Dominant! Buy extra panties!

A true, clear and concise account of a Dominant's relationships; How he feels (yes, I said feels), what he expects and or demands, how he treats his subs, and his perspective about his life as a Dom. I found it intriguing, extremely passionate, and very well written. I fell deeper in love with James (though I didn't think that possible) due to his compassionate heart, his desire to fulfill the needs of his sub, and his devotion to her while with her. Being a submissive and giving up control takes strength of character to obtain complete freedom, but taking total control of another and exerting power and discipline over that Individual takes inordinary strength, warmth, kindness, selflessness, and compassion; all characteristics which James possesses. Did I mention that he is hot hot hot? I bought the audio book just to hear Rob Groves sexy voice tell James's story and yes, I did buy extra panties prior to making my purchase. James would call them "knickers", giggle giggle. Such a great decision on my part. Problem now is, I'm in love with Rob too! If you really want to treat yourself, and you haven't done so already, read Disciplining Destiny, and Amelia's Awakening, (Expect The Unexpected) By James Collier and Maggie Carpenter. I guarantee you'll be entertained and pleased with your purchase. I totally was and am still. I love you, James. I love you, Rob. And yes, I love you too Maggie Carpenter!!! Thank you for this audio book!!!

I LOVED THIS AUDIO BOOK!!! From the beginning, I fell in love with the narrator's voice. Mr. Daniel Dorse sounded exactly like I had imagined Tucker Prescott's voice would sound like when I read this book the first time on my kindle. Yes, I said the first time. I admit that I loved it so much that I read it twice. Naturally, as I started listening to the audio version, I fell in love again with the no nonsense, take charge, handsome hired gunman Tucker Prescott. Tucker was hired by the mayor of Spring Junction to restore law and order to the once peaceful town, which can only happen if and when he can remove the McGill gang for good. The gang had been terrorizing the residents and business owners for so long that most were thinking of packing up and moving on. The Sheriff was apparently enforcing no law and maintaining no order as far as folks could tell. When Tucker arrived he was given a cabin to stay in and a few horses to use as needed, all conveniently located outside of town. It was on the mayor's property but well away from the large home occupied by the mayor, his daughter, and the woman who helped him raise her after his wife died. Tucker had insisted on complete isolation while doing his job. He clearly did not have time nor did he need the distraction of trying to protect any women who might be in or near his cabin. Getting rid of the McGill gang was going to be a challenge, but Tucker truly understood the term challenge when the beautiful, feisty, sassy mayor's daughter Dolly Baker burst uninvited into his cabin right after he first arrived. Not only was she disrespectful, she was argumentative and in dire need of good spanking. After the threat of being put over his knee and sent away, Dolly stumbled on an opportunity to get even with the bossy but handsome gunman. This leads to the first of many trips over Tucker's knee for Dolly. I've heard that curiosity killed the cat. Curiosity didn't kill Dolly but it certainly turned her bottom a pretty shade of crimson and Tucker enjoyed every smack. The characters in this book are amazing. I especially loved sweet, kind, wise old Father O'Brian, Tucker's friend and aide in gathering information, and if Mr. Dorse isn't a true Irishman with his authentic thick Irish brogue, I'll kiss your Barney stone! This is an extraordinary story and as you hear Tucker attempt to tame Dolly and the town of Spring Junction, I hope you'll be as impressed with Maggie Carpenter's talent and imagination as I am. Tucker Prescott's plan is ingenious and will blow your socks off! I'll be listening to this one again (with my husband) this weekend. Thanks Ms. Carpenter, for the hours of awesome entertainment!!!
