Historia
After Tova Sullivan’s husband died, she began working the night shift at the Sowell Bay Aquarium, mopping floors and tidying up. Keeping busy has always helped her cope, which she’s been doing since her eighteen-year-old son, Erik, mysteriously vanished on a boat in Puget Sound over thirty years ago. Tova becomes acquainted with curmudgeonly Marcellus, a giant Pacific octopus living at the aquarium. Marcellus knows more than anyone can imagine but wouldn’t dream of lifting one of his eight arms for his human captors—until he forms a remarkable friendship with Tova.

The blasphemy of the Catholic Church. When the author , obviously ignorant of the faith, made a reference that the host, the actual body and blood of Christ after consecration, was put into relation of the priest’s genitals, when one kneeling to receive communion.

The blatant use of God’s name in vain; disgusting!
Revisado: 03-12-24
The fact that God’s name was constantly used in vain, it was disgusting, I couldn’t continue to listen. It wasn’t necessary to tell the story.

Cult leaders, satin’s disciples
Revisado: 03-19-23
I like the way the story unfolded. It brought events into perspective and how young children who are abused can be brainwashed. Although fictional, there is a lot of truth in what has been written.

A beautiful story of love and selflessness
Revisado: 03-04-23
I couldn’t stop listening. Although some parts were predictable, the beauty of the story of love, selflessness, and neighbors, who become family wouldn’t allow me to pause and listen later. I look forward to more stories by Greg Kincaid, and narrated by Mark Bramhall.

Great story with one exception.
Revisado: 01-29-23
I really enjoyed the story and the twists and turns that ensued, and it was nice not to hear any cursing or vulgarity. However, the details regarding Matt’s sexual encounters were not necessarily, and for me, disappointing, especially when they didn’t lead to a relationship with his partner. Not to spoil anything, it was nice that the story ended on an encouraging note.
