Historia
The War on Warriors uncovers the deep roots of our dysfunction—a society that has forgotten the men who take risks, cut through red tape, and get their hands dirty. The only kind of men prepared to face the dangers that the Left pretends don’t exist. Unlike issues of education or taxes or crime, this problem doesn’t have a zip code solution. We can’t move away from it. We can’t avoid it. We have only one Pentagon. Either we take it back or surrender it altogether.

Fantastic read and if you thought the military was woke you have no idea. What stood out the most was that the United States military is paying for trans operations which leaves these service members out of service for their entire time in the military.

Historia
As the son of celebrated NYPD commissioner, Ray Kelly, and a former lieutenant colonel in the Marine Corps Reserve, Greg Kelly has had a firsthand look at the critical importance of law enforcement in America. In a nation divided, progressives want to abolish the very organizations that keep us safe. Kelly expertly reveals their indispensability. Both a celebration and a call to action, Justice for All is perfect for fans of Mark Levin, Greg Gutfeld, and Sean Hannity.

Did it agree with everything but then again who agrees with anyone 100%. The mentioning of James Wilson and his broken windows theory and Arthur M. Schlesinger is invaluable and I would encourage more people to research on the subject.

Jimmy Carter: America's best ex-president? Only if you're not bothered by the resurgence of Islamic fundamentalist terrorism (which started on his watch), the shamefaced foreign policy of Bill Clinton and John Kerry (ditto), and think that ex-presidents should travel the world coddling dictators and bad-mouthing America la Jesse Jackson. Jimmy Carter has been given a free ride from the liberal media, liberal historians, and even the American people, who excuse his political delinquencies and disasters on the grounds that he is a "good" man.

From his made up past, his absurd ideas about FP, his disastrous domestic policies, his nosing into other presidents affairs, his questionable stances on race in the past … all of it is right here. An excellent book and probably the best book on Jimmy Carter.

I’ve never read a book from an Air Force intel officer side of the war. That was new and interesting especially his funny battles with big army who couldn’t make heads or tails as to who he was , why he was there , and why he refused to tell them.

Historia
In April 2021, an urgent call was placed from a Special Forces operator serving overseas. The message was clear: Get Nezam out of Afghanistan now. Nezam was part of the Afghan National Army’s first group of American-trained commandos; he passed through Fort Bragg’s legendary Q course and served alongside the US Special Forces for over a decade. But Afghanistan’s government and army were on the edge of collapse, and Nezam was receiving threatening texts from the Taliban.

Fantastic exciting read. One should look into the Khumer Rouge and our abandonment of our Viet Allies. The feeling of loss and betrayal by our government to these countries , to our men and women who lost so much fighting for dignity all over the world and the families they helped saved will never be forgotten. In this remarkable tour de force of investigative reporting, James Bamford exposes the inner workings of America's largest, most secretive, and arguably most intrusive intelligence agency. The NSA has long eluded public scrutiny, but The Puzzle Palace penetrates its vast network of power and unmasks the people who control it, often with shocking disregard for the law.

Fascinating and a great intro into the authors multiple books on the subject.

I got this because I wanted to read his last book SoyFail which covers a host of some famous and some not so famous HUMNIT and a host of other failures. From Aldrich Ames to Asian and Cuban spy’s he covers a whole host of them. Some of these stories were swallowed up by large events like 911. I wonder if he covers the same ground Peter Lance covered about Ali Mohamed in his work Triple Cross. He has about 4 books before his last. I’ve enjoyed this one immensely and I can’t wait to get through all his other books.

New reporting by Greenwald and his team of Brazilian journalists brought to light stunning information about grave corruption, deceit, and wrongdoing by the most powerful political actors in Brazil, his home since 2005. These stories, based on a massive trove of previously undisclosed telephone calls, audio, and text, came to light only months after the January 2019 inauguration of Brazil's far-right president, Jair Bolsonaro, an ally of President Trump.

Revisado: 11-06-22
Great read. I decided to pick this up after Ben Shapiro interviewed Bolsonaro. I knew that Glenn Greenwald had written a book about Brazilian politics and wondered if the interview mentioned anything that Greenwald discussed. I haven’t heard the interview as of yet but I’m doubtful anything about the handling of operation car wash came up at least not with serious scrutiny. All though Greenwald is from the left the side of the aisle I would hope that in seeking the truth people like Shapiro would at least read critiques of the people they plan on interviewing.
The book was enjoyable , informative and a companion piece to Netflix’s series “ The Mechanism” which deals with Operation Car Wash.
