A very large portion of this book talks about calling current customers!

In a SaaS B2B org this is not something an outbound (or inbound) person would have to do unless working at a lean startup.

Only talks about “cold calls” for ten minutes maybe.

Suggests texting as well but I’d check the law first and fines you can incur. This might be okay for current customers who actually know you, but not someone you haven’t talked to before. Good way to get your number blocked and a fine.

I really don’t know who this book is for and it could have been a lot more concise. He mentions there’s only a handful of books on calling. That’s because they wrap it with other outbound tactics and don’t fill it with fluff!

A breathe of fresh air compared to all the other “business” and “sales” books constantly pumped out.

Highly recommended if you own a company, are thinking about starting one, or work in B2B sales.
