Linc and Arden…I love them.

Catherine Cowles has delivered another small town, romantic suspense masterpiece that had the right mix of feels, passion, humor and mystery. I didn’t want to put it down.

The chemistry between Arden and Lincoln radiated off the page. Their genuine connection was built on mutual respect, strong communication and attraction. Out of all these Sparrow Falls couples, these two I believe are the most secure. From the very beginning, I knew Arden was going to be my favorite heroine in the series. Her strength after all she went through as a child is unmatched. And Lincoln, swoony, protective, billionaire who is also a little damaged, I mean, of course I was going to fall head over heels for him. He was dream material. The fact that he fell first and so hard only made me love him more.

It wouldn’t be a Catherine Cowles book if it didn’t have at least one twist that completely turned me upside down. While I did predict some of the parts, Catherine does a great job redirecting the reader; keeping you on the edge of your seat.

I really loved this book and especially this couple. If you love small town, romantic suspense, brother’s best friend, billionaire romances, add this to your tbr asap.

The narration was superb. Sebastian York as Lincoln and Samantha Brentmoor as Arden. I couldn’t have asked for a better pairing. They did the characters justice and really brought the story to life.

This may be my favorite in the series so far. If you could see me after reading this, I swear there were hearts in my eyes. I loved this book so dang much. Cope, Sutton, and Luca are too perfect. Broken Harbor is an engrossing and beautifully told small town, close proximity, single mom/hockey player hero romantic suspense that not only pulled on my heartstrings but also gave me that giddy squeal-y feeling. Catherine Cowles does a wonderful job pulling the reader in with the phenomenal character chemistry, the found family dynamics, and the well written mystery.
After reading the previous books in the Sparrow Falls series, I was very curious about the town’s baker, Sutton, and her adorable, hockey obsessed son, Luca. I adored Sutton. She showed so much strength and courage as she escaped her dangerous ex; settling in Sparrow Falls in her search for a safety and peace. I could not get enough of the relationship between her and Copeland. When her slime ball landlord forces her to move from her apartment, Cope steps in and lets them stay with him. They form the cutest little unit. *swoon* Copeland Colson really was a total dreamboat. He’s so sweet and kind to Luca. And, so attentive, protective and passionate about Sutton. Like with Sutton, my curiosity over his story was at a high. We learned in previous books about his family’s tragic loss. I liked that we saw him work through his pain and guilt, helping him heal.
The suspense element is *chef’s kiss* so good. I will say this time around I wasn’t surprised who the villain was. I was however blown away by the why and how. Major kudos to Catherine for that.

This book was pretty much perfect. The swoons, the suspense, and the wild and hilarious grandma. I never want to leave Sparrow Falls. I can’t wait to read the next book. I’m already in love with the characters.

The narration: Connor Crais and Erin Mallon deserve a standing ovation for the narration. They really brought these characters to life.

On the Edge is an entertaining fast-paced, fake dating, Formula 1 racing romance that delivers in the spice, in the close proximity tension and in the drama (of the family and love variety).

Cruz Navarro is racing royalty on the cusp of signing a massive deal. However, after photos of his excessive partying surface, this playboy is forced to clean up his bad boy image by pretending to be in a serious relationship. Enter Maddix Hart, the good girl intern looking to move up in the company and desperate for an adventure. Forced together, traveling, for a few months while Cruz hunts to capture his first championship, they form a strong bond and romance. The chemistry between Cruz and Maddix is felt instantaneously. From their first meeting, there’s compassion. They could read each other fairly well. There’s a great balance between them. She helps him calm down while he helps her loosen up a little bit. And, their banter is just so good.

I read this book in a day and I really enjoyed it. If you’re looking for an easy to read, only one bed, sports romance with some top tie groveling, you need this book.

Kit Swann and Robert Hatchet did such a phenomenal job. I really enjoyed their performance. Robert's accent was especially pleasant.

The Summer I Destroyed You is an angsty grumpy/sunshine (she’s the grump) slow burning workplace romance that’s layered with witty banter, emotional trauma, and revenge. The dynamic between Liam and Emmy is second to none. I love love love these two together.

Emerson returns to her hometown of Elliott Springs with the plans to buy and destroy the place that holds so many horrible memories. She hires Liam‘s construction company to help with the renovations. Right away, there’s a mutual attraction, however they’re quick to butt heads.

Liam is a dreamboat. He knows what he wants and he’s ready to settle down. I liked how he doesn’t let Emmy off the hook when she’s being rude. But…he will also defend her if anyone is disrespecting her.

Emmy is such an interesting character. It could have been very easy to hate her. She’s tough, emotionally stunted and she’s willing to use people to her advantage. She’s also riddled with insecurities after years of being bullied by not only her classmates but also her mother. Seeing her vulnerability and all her pain made my heart go out to her, and made her more relatable. I understood why she was the way she was. I even rooted for her as she’s showed so much growth.

I highly recommend this book. It definitely can be read as a standalone.

I loved the narration. Samantha Brentmoor and JF Harding brought this story to life. They provided the emotion and the lightness when appropriate.

I just need someone to tell me where to submit my application for the Shep Colson fan club. There is something about Catherine Cowles golden retriever heroes that makes me go all feral.

I love this book! Delicate Escape is nothing short of perfection. This small town, roommates to lovers, romantic suspense with its keep you on the edge of your seat storyline, its lovable, well-developed characters, and the undeniable devotion between Step and Thea had me kicking my feet giddily. Shep and Thea are too cute together. A true match for one another. He is so patient with her. So protective. And she is so brave and strong with him. The suspense element in this one is oh so good! Catherine Cowles has managed to bamboozle me once again with her villain. When I tell you I had no idea, I mean it. I was caught way WAY off guard.

This book is just another example of Catherine Cowles brilliance. I will never tire of her words and storytelling. I’m extra excited for the next book in the series.

The narration was wonderfully done by Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton. They brought Shep and Thea to life. Providing the emotion and the lightness when appropriate. It was an easy enjoyable listen.

My gawd! Devil of Dublin took over my life for a couple of days!! I loved it. Darby and Kellen are hands down my couple of the year. They are everything together. Two tortured souls who even at a young age knew they belong to one another. Blessed by the lady in the lough. The way they clung to each other. I'm obsessed.

I've kinda steered away from dark reads in recent years. Honestly, if BB’s name wasn’t attached to this book, I probably wouldn’t have read it. And, that would have been a shame because I would have missed out on an incredible, mystical, dark, gritty, emotional mafia romance that even days later I can't stop thinking about. This book was so good. I lost myself in all the danger, the undeniable chemistry and all Irish folklore. Devil of Dublin is not an easy book to read. (Check your trigger warnings) I fell so hard for these characters. So seeing the trauma and torment they faced gutted me. There were moments where I had to stop listening because I empathize too much. Still after all the hurt, I was left feeling hopeful for Darby and Kellen. If any two people deserved a happily ever after it's these two.

The narration was great. Loved Eric Nolan’s performance especially. The accent! So good!!

I love how BB Easton pushes me out of my comfort zone. She creates these worlds that are enchanting, thrilling and totally all consuming. It's no wonder why she is one of my all time favorites.

My heart!! Brynlee, Carson and Layla now own it. Corinne Michaels did not hold back with Forgotten Desires. Saving the best Whitlock book for last. The way I devoured this book. Gah! It was way early into the morning and couldn’t put it down. Second Chance. Marriage of Convenience. Small town. Billionaire. Loooved every second of it. The connection between Brynlee and Carson is so strong and passionate even after so many years apart. I love Brynn so much. She has the biggest heart even to those that hurt her. And Carson *sigh* he’s a dream. He’s successful. An amazing father who is willing to do whatever it takes for his little girl. And he carried the biggest torch for Bryn despite marrying someone else out of obligation to his family.

The narrations done by Teddy Hamilton and Stella Hunter were nothing short of brilliant. They truly brought these characters to life.

I’m so sad this series is over. Every single book blew me away. If you haven’t met any of the Whitlocks, do yourself a favor and do so immediately.

Catherine Cowles never ceases to wow me. I loved this book!!! From the dedication to the very last page, Fragile Sanctuary owned my heart.
The first book in the Sparrow Falls series is a beautifully written, small town, brother’s best friend, grumpy/sunshine, romance that follows Anson, a former profiler looking to start over from his old life, and Rhodes, who has returned to restore her burned childhood home. Both are dealing with so much trauma and loss and carry a world of guilt. Together, they help each other heal from the pain and grow a connection and a love that is unbreakable. The undeniable chemistry and fun banter between Anson and Rhodes plus the amazing found family aspect, the shocking twist and turns, and the emotional heart pulling moments had me completely hypnotized and glued to my kindle!

It wouldn’t be a Catherine Cowles book without a well crafted mystery. I’ve been able to pinpoint the villain in the past, but oh my goodness this one deserves a standing ovation. I was completely thrown for a loop. I didn't suspect it at all. it was so well done.

This is the way to kick off a series. I am already in love with Sparrow Falls. I can’t wait to read more from this world.

Audiobook: The narration… flawless. I mean of course it was. Zachary Webber and Andi Arndt are two of the best. They really brought Anson and Rhodes to life and nailed the grumpy/sunshine aspect of these characters. I couldn’t get enough of their performance. Outstanding!

Ashes of You is by far my favorite book in the series. Oh what a beautiful story. One full of compassion, strength and hopefulness and a mystery that will keep you glued to your kindle. I loved this book!

- Single dad/nanny
- Age gap
- Close proximity
- Romantic suspense
- Heroine in danger
- Law enforcement hero
- Serial Killer on the loose

Lawson and Hallie were an absolute dream. You could feel their connection instantly. I absolutely devoured their passion and the close proximity tension between them. They were so obviously perfect for one another.

I knew Lawson was going to own me. Protective, caring, an amazing father… be still my heart. His devotion to his family, to the town and to Hallie made it easy to root for him. And, Hallie with her big understanding heart and bravery. If you love stories about women who have gone through so much trauma and hurt and who rise up to face their demons with grace, kindness and so much strength, you’ll love Hallie’s journey.

One of my favorite parts of the book is the relationship Hallie formed with Lawson’s boys. From an energetic six year old to a grumpy sixteen year old and a charmer thirteen year old in between, she took her time to really get to know them and understand their thoughts and hurts, especially with the oldest, Luke. I just loved the close-nit family they made.

Catherine Cowles has become one of my gold standard on how to properly deliver a small town romantic suspense. The way she weaves her story that has you fully convinced you know where it’s going but then you’re completely blindsided. Amazing. She has me second guessing and side eyeing every side character. It’s the best.

As I said before, I loved this book! The Lost & Found series as a whole has been so incredible. Book by book, it only got better and better. I’m so sad that the series is over but what a perfect way to end.

The narration was of course fantastic. I’m mean you cannot go wrong with Sebastian York and one of personal favorites Ava Erickson. These two really brought the characters to life.

Elizabeth O’Roark completely blew me away with this book. Days after reading, I still couldn’t get it out of my head. The Summer You Found Me is a forbidden, close proximity, best friend’s ex, unrequited love romance that delivered in angst, in passion, in tension and in redemption. The pining alone in this story *sobs* it cut straight to my heart. This is my favorite in the Summer series for sure.

This story follows Kate, a recovering addict who is trying to get her life back. The first step is getting her soon to be ex husband back. (Caleb - the hero in book two) Needing a place to stay, she asks Beckett - Caleb’s best friend and someone who has always supported her understood her and carried feelings for her - to let her stay with him. The more time they spend together the more she sees that the dream of her old life that she’s clinging onto maybe no longer fits her.

I love Kate’s growth in this book. She is my favorite kind of heroine. One who is flawed but real. One who had her share of hardships including a rough childhood, the loss of a child, an addiction, and a failed marriage, but still determined to be better. She’ll make you angry but you’ll also root the hardest for.

Her and Beckett together, I mean.. amazing. As I said before, he understood her. He knew how to support her. And, he was always there especially when her ex wasn’t. They were just so good and perfect for each other.

The narration was phenomenal!! I don’t think anyone else could have preformed a better Kate and Beckett than Samantha Brentmoor and Connor Crais. Duet style, these two really brought these characters to life. Samantha, especially. I think this is my favorite audio from this narrator. The way she captured Kate’s “don’t care. I’ll do what I want” attitude but then added the right amount of softness to get Kate’s vulnerability. So good!!

This audio is one I’ve already listened to multiple times and plan to listen to again.
