Martin Short provides a great insight of the man, the myth, the legend. Despite all he has gone through during his life he has kept a positive outlook and a humble perspective. Very entertaining and hard to stop listening to. I have a greater appreciation of Martin Short!

A True Eye Opener! Not Your Typical Memoir!

This book really opened my eyes to the injustices that Britney has had to deal with from not only family members, but boyfriends, husbands, doctors, lawyers, judges and the media! This book reveals just how alone and trapped she felt. It's a travesty that anyone would be treated this way! Thankfully Brittany is stronger now and wanting to have a more normal life that is not controlled by dictators. It explains a lot in regards to how she rebelled against the situations she was put it. This book is well worth the credit!

A Good Story and Adventure!

This Great Adventure Continues!

I have listened to each of the first ten books probably 6 times and have enjoyed them every time. I could hardly believe that the author was going to continue the series and so I preordered book 11. The story continues where book 10 left off and it's awesome that Duke Fontaine remains the narrator! It still feels the same and it was difficult to stop listening and get my work done. I can't wait for book 12! It's well worth a credit!

Another Awesome Book That Deserves Your Attention

Mark Goodwin has produced another great story that can be considered prophetic due to the current worldwide situation that we currently face. Although this book doesn't involve a pandemic, the United States and the world will face unimaginable challenges in the next few months that will be of biblical proportions.
Mark's use of the Bible's scripture is invaluable and although some may deny the truths that are revealed in the scriptures, the Bible warns of the exact same issues that we face today! A one world government, a cashless society, the "mark" of the beast, distractions, disarmed citizenry, famine, and so much more! While the story is very entertaining and I can't wait for the next book, it makes me want to reread the most important book of all, the Bible!

A Great Start To A New Series

I really enjoyed the story and characters, but just when it got to where I didn't want to stop listening...It stopped! All good books should at least be 9 hours long, not 6 hours 52 minutes! I can't wait for the next book!

A Worthwhile SHTF Adventure

I was pleasantly surprised and entertained by this story. This story is a welcome change of view in this genre. I believe this book will appeal to a wide variety of people, and I hope this book will help motivate the women in my life. I appreciate that this book is clean and not filled with obscene or foul language, so I can recommend this to everyone I know. I can't wait to read the next book!

Poor Narration and Lacking Firearms Knowledge

The narrator needs to attend voice acting classes and learn the meaning of punctuation.
The writer, continually swaps between a revolver and pistol while the main character, Charlie is in possession of it. Also, during the first interaction between Charlie and a military squad, he says that they shoved an AR15 in his face...The U.S. Military has never used the civilian AR15 rifle, which is semi-automatic! The U.S. Military uses M16's or M4's that are selective fire, fully automatic rifles! I know that this maybe nitpicking in regards to the firearms in the story, but ignorance of firearms and in their use, continues to mislead people, giving them the wrong and possibly dangerous information! The writer also makes the military personal look like rookies without combat training. In future stories that involve firearms and/or the military, or law enforcement, I highly recommend getting input from people who have had actual experience in that field. The flaws in this story could've been prevented by a good editor or by allowing experts to proofread prior to release? If you have a background in the military/law enforcement, prepping, or firearms? You will probably be disappointed.
