Historia
The Sith Empire is in flux. The Emperor is missing, presumed dead, and an ambitious Sith lord’s attempt to seize the throne has ended fatally. Still, Darth Karrid, commander of the fearsome Imperial battle cruiser Ascendant Spear, continues her relentless efforts to achieve total Sith domination of the galaxy. But Karrid’s ruthless determination is more than matched in the steely resolve of Theron Shan, whose unfinished business with the Empire could change the course of the war for good. Though the son of a Jedi master, Theron does not wield the Force - but like his renowned mother, the spirit of rebellion is in his blood.

Love this book! 3rd time listening
Revisado: 04-02-25
Theron Shan and Master Gnost-Dural are such a cool team up. Also all the supporting characters in this are awesome! Teff’ith, Satele, Jace, and the director. Also Darth Karrid and her Ascendant Spear are great. The narrator is a pro and does all the voices so well! The pacing of this story is done very well and is a great addition to the Star Wars universe.

When a Republic spy goes missing on the Moons of Varl, the Jedi Council asks Obi-Wan and Anakin to infiltrate an underground podracing circuit run by a crime boss believed to be holding the spy prisoner. With Anakin posing as a hotshot racer and Obi-Wan as his attendant, tensions between the two threaten to run even higher than usual. But when Obi-Wan is forced to leave Varl, Anakin is on his own as he faces a series of increasingly treacherous races that will determine his fate—and that of the spy.

Fun quick Star Wars story!
Revisado: 01-04-25
This was a great story about the early days of Anakin and Obi-wan’s relationship as master and padawan. With barely 3 years in training they both have things to learn from each other and together. It was fun hearing exploits of Anakin podracing again. As a big fan of the prequels, this story was super fun for me.

Star Wars at its greatest
Revisado: 12-29-24
Love the story and getting to hear the story from the thoughts of Mace Windu. This was a pallet cleanser after having listened to the disappointing new attempt by Disney to make a Windu story in the Glass Abyss. This story was well done.

Historia
Roshar is a world of stone and storms. Uncanny tempests of incredible power sweep across the rocky terrain so frequently that they have shaped ecology and civilization alike. Animals hide in shells, trees pull in branches, and grass retracts into the soilless ground. Cities are built only where the topography offers shelter. It has been centuries since the fall of the 10 consecrated orders known as the Knights Radiant, but their Shardblades and Shardplate remain: mystical swords and suits of armor.

Amazing book! narration on 2x speed
Revisado: 07-06-24
As I finish my forth listen through this amazing book, I can’t believe it is over. It’s incredible how such a long book can stay so exciting the whole way through. I love all these characters and the challenges they face and overcome. Sanderson is an amazing author and person, and his books are at the very top of my favorites list.
Kate and Michael are amazing narrators though I speed them up and it flows best for me that way. Their character accents and voices are so good.

Historia
The man who became known as Esrahaddon is reported to have destroyed the world’s greatest empire—but there are those who believe he saved it. Few individuals are as divisive, but all agree on three facts: He was exiled to the wilderness, hunted by a goblin priestess, and sentenced to death by a god—all before the age of eight. How he managed to survive and why people continued to fear his name a thousand years later has always been a mystery...until now.

Revisado: 03-16-24
I loved this story of Elan! Each story is so exciting and full of amazing characters. I loved that Esrahaddon was raised by goblins that were good people that love life and had faith in the real Gods of Elan. Even knowing what the end would bring, every step was an incredible experience. The characters interactions and growth was very heart warming and not forced. I always enjoyed the scenes with prince Nevrik. He was funny and super smart which lightened the mood and was a great character for Esrahaddon and Jerish to interact with. Great book would recommend!

Being an unwanted twin in the Imperial line of succession, Farilane became a scholar, adventurer, and in a time when reading was once more forbidden—a book hunter. Her singular obsession is finding the mythical Book of Brin, a tome not just lost but intentionally buried. Respected and beloved by the Teshlor Knights, not even their legendary skills can protect her for what she finds is more dangerous than what she sought.

Incredible
Revisado: 03-12-24
Another masterpiece by Sullivan! I loved this story. The main characters are a mix of old and new. They are so well crafted that I was very moved by the ending. I think it helps that I’m reading this as the prequel to Riyiria Revelations not only as the sequel to Age of Legends. Already knowing what happens in the end of Revelations made this heartbreaking episode more bearable. Farilane’s character and her arc is intriguing and unique. I was always looking forward to the next crazy thing she would do or say. It was also great to see the returning characters again, but I won’t talk about them to avoid spoilers. With the bittersweetness of one last Elan book to read (Esrahaddon), I’m really excited for when I start the whole saga again with Age of Myth!
