Struggling to finish

I’ve read this book and really liked it so I was excited to listen to it. The female narrator sounds like she going to whine/cry through the whole book and the male narrator sounds like he’s WAY older than 29. I will probably finish this one (maybe) but i definitely won’t be buying the other books in this series.

Would have been great if Vox had a different voice

I was unsure about the multiple voices but got used to it. One thing that, in my opinion, I couldn’t stand was the voice of Vox. He absolutely did not fit. If I had borrowed this book instead of buying it I would have returned it that is how much I didn’t like Vox’s voice. He made him sound like a whining baby even when he was supposed to be strong. Other than Vox, I loved it.

Wish narrator was better

I love this series when I read them. I was excited to have them in audio as well but after listening to this one I don’t think I’ll buy the rest. I feel bad because I know that the narrator probably did her best but it was so dry. When she read the males POV it was even worse.
