voice echoing from a place of wisdom, compassion

wonderful reading, clear, from somewhere compassion from the and for the living and the shades. reflecting on incidents and places ftom childhood, literature, the visions of humanity through the ages, immersing these into the flow of time.
it would really have been nice if Audible presented the reading with the titles of the poems, instead of chapter numbers, so that one could navigate to and listen to soecific poems.

was wonderful how many of the stories interwove different perspectives, building a sense of place and complexity of characters experience.
i wished audible gave the titles of the stories in the contents, so that one might select a specific story. numbered chapter headings are unhelpful and some stories were recorded together in one chapter.

joyous vibrant reading

wonderful reading, seemed ss if one could hear the reader's smile snd enjoyment too. there's the oh, i remember this part moments and the, how lovely, I don't remember that moments. a feeling of Alice as a girl in the story, the excitement and bafflement if words. joyous vibrant :)
