So many feelings!!
Revisado: 04-25-25
I enjoyed this book! Its the sequel to Wintersong, I gave it 4 stars bc I did struggle to follow along in some places, and it seemed to jump around. altogether I think if you read the first you should definitely read the second. The story takes some unexpected turns and Shadowsong cleans up some unanswered questions from Wintersong.

Her career was about to take off, but her personal life was slowly beginning to unravel. What none of the show’s millions of fans knew, hidden even from her costars, was her secret double life in a cult. An only child who always wanted a place to belong, Lenz found the safe haven she’d been searching for in a Bible study group with other Hollywood creatives. However, the group soon morphed into something more sinister.

That Bethany Joy Lenz read it herself
Revisado: 01-02-25
This was definitely one of those, if I was reading a ohysical book I couldn't put it down, type of reads. I grew up watching one tree hill. I loved the show. It's sad this was all happening an no one knew but also amazing that she shifted herself right out of it.

Historia
Jennette McCurdy was six years old when she had her first acting audition. Her mother’s dream was for her only daughter to become a star, and Jennette would do anything to make her mother happy. So she went along with what Mom called “calorie restriction." She endured extensive at-home makeovers while Mom chided, “Your eyelashes are invisible, okay? You think Dakota Fanning doesn’t tint hers?” She was even showered by Mom until age sixteen while sharing her diaries, email, and all her income. In I’m Glad My Mom Died, Jennette recounts all this in unflinching detail.
